A few months ago, my husband and I went to this location for dinner and had the most bizarre experience. Our waitress was the only one working while another sat at the back table on her phone. We could hear the waitresses arguing with the cook and with each other. Our waitress quit mid service (although she was incredibly kind to us and continued to work until we were finished) and a manager was called in. The manager came in and sat down at the back table preparing silverware without stopping any of the fighting that was still going on. Fast forward to this past Saturday. My husband and I decided to try this location again. We walk in the door and awkwardly stood there for a few minutes before a waitress waved us over to a table near the server booth. She put menus down and disappears without saying a word. It's just us and an 8 top in the restuarant. After several minutes, she finally takes the 8 tops order, then tells us she will be back for drink orders in a minute. She puts in the order when a group of 7 comes in. She seats the group of 7 on a 6 person table very close to us, even though there is no one else in the restaurant, then eventually comes back to us. We put in our drink orders and she begins to run away as I try to add our food order, as weve had plenty of time to decide. She says I need to wait to order because the cook said so. She comes back shortly with drinks (which are never refilled), puts them on the table and walks away. Being in the restaurant about 20 minutes, she comes back to take our order, which takes about 20 more minutes to come out. While we are waiting, we hear the waitress and cook arguing as she wants him to make her cannoli pancakes to try and he doesnt want to or something to that tune. She doesn't say anything as she puts plates down on the table. Eventually I asked her for boxes and the check, at which time she finally said something to us, asking how the cannoli pancakes are. I've never written a review for a restaurant before today, but after such a terrible, uncomfortable, and anxiety ridden experience, I felt this was well earned. We will...
Read moreHorrible Service, I went for Father’s Day with my kids and our server Heather was terrible. I got a table with my family at 10:30am with my two kids. I waited 20 minutes for my drinks we ordered 2 waters and a Pepsi. Got my drinks 20 minutes later... then after getting my drinks 20 minutes again got my order taken. And Waiting about 1 hour and a half, and notice two tables that came after us get there food before us? Then I ask the server did you forget about us she looked at us with confusion and said No I didn’t forget about you, I know you’ve been waiting a while. And walked away.. after that she came back again and said were having technical difficulties in the back with the computer system my manager is making your food fresh right now. I spoke with her and said this is very terrible service if you could if Inform us about it then just making us sit here clueless it would’ve been nice. Then she’s barely just had a response and said ok but gave a nasty look. Then my daughter was explaining the situation to make her understand and was rude and giving nasty looks to her. My daughter said “ we’ve been waiting here for a hour and a half, there has been people who got there food with a party of 6 some how we don’t have our food still.” She didn’t know what to say to my daughter but Stutter. Then our food comes out 15 minutes later and my daughter ordered hashbrowns with cheese on it. Then she waits for heather to come back and she mentions I’m suppose to have cheese on my hashbrowns and she just says I know? If you know what should be your next step ? As service wise terrible rate 0. Then we talk to her a again and said oh well I didn’t think you’ll want to wait. Then she sent lulu and she was kind but no manager was available to speak with us. HEATHER needs to learn customer service and hospitality. I don’t understand why she is a server with her...
Read moreThis location is clean and usually busy. However, the waiter was so unbelievably rude. He had the gall to tell us to work with him and he'll work with us. He made us order like we were 5th graders. Example:
Waiter: What will you have? Me: 2,2,2 Waiter: How do you want the eggs? Me: Over well. Waiter: Over what?! Me: Over well. Waiter: Over what?! Me: Over well. Waiter: Over WELL?! Sides? (hand motion for me to hurry) Me: Sausage and waffles Waiter: Waffles? Me: Yes, waffles. Waiter: Drink?! Me: Orang... Water: OJ, got it, next. What will you have (waiter looks at my husband). Me: I need a second 2,2,2. Waiter: What? Me: I need a second 2,2,2. Waiter: You didn't say that. How do you want the second 2,2,2? Me: (In my mind, "your rude behind didn't let me finish.") I order the second 2,2,2. Waiter: Now you (turns to my husband) Husband: Steak omelet... Waiter: Steak omelet, drink?! Husband: Steak omelet, egg whites only and de-café coffee. Waiter: Ok, if you guys work with me, I'll work with you. I'll be back with your drinks. Me: I'm not working here, what does he mean by that? He's so rude and I can't even say anything because he looks like a spitter. Husband: Leave a review. Me: Good idea, but they won't care. Waiter: (Brings food) Your son looks like you. Husband: Decafe coffee, please. Waiter: One second. Me: Hash browns? Waiter: One second. Waiter: Returns with hash browns. Husband: (Half-way through his breakfast.) Decafe coffee, please. Waiter: Decafe coffee (10-minutes later, we're almost finished with our breakfast).
Moral of the story, complain afterwards and you won't get spit with your food! If I see this waiter again, I will politely ask for a different sever. He's not worth tipping because I don't need to be treated like a 5th grader serving lunch detention while...
