This museum is filled with outstanding exhibits which characterize each era of Lynchburg history. There is so much information to take in, well written and sequenced, and thoughtfully laid out. There are parts of each exhibit which cater to different ages, and the staff had two difficulties of scavenger hunts which helps older and younger visitors both have motivation to keep viewing exhibits and keep attention spans longer than they otherwise might endure. At the museum, you can learn so much about the history of Lynchburg. There are permeant and temporary exhibits, all of which were carefully picked. The exhibits show all the diverse histories throughout the city.
