I must say it is very cute with all the miniature buildings that resemble the Lynden township. The only problem I find which brings me to the reason for my two star review, there's no way to keep track of your kiddo, and that's pretty important if you ask me. It's like a giant maze and at the very top by the big slide there is an exit that's very easy to open even for a child of young age, that shockingly, leads almost straight to the road where there is heavy traffic. Among this traffic is many large semi trucks that are going to the many businesses in that very industrial part of Lynden. Not a favorite of mine to say the least, but I will say.. I'm one of those paranoid worry wart mom's that are constantly chasing their baby girls around any park I go to. Still though, you must remember to watch them by that big slide and the exit to the road. And that gets tiring and never...

This Review will have to be 2 parts.

The 1st part is for the children's playground:

5 STARS!!!

The Playground is HUGE and Awesome! I wish there was one like it where I lived when I was a kid!! The 2nd part of the review is for the indoor / sheltered areas that you can rent out for "get-togethers":

3 STARS...

Meh... it's probably worth what it cost to rent... (somebody else did, so I don't know the cost), but it's very Rustic and Plain. One Positive thing is that the bathrooms have Running Water, Soap & Paper Towels, (For Washing up after using the restroom).

Not Terrible, but not Particularly Nice, so 3 Stars seems fair to me. So... the 5 Star Playground + the 3 Star indoor rental rooms = an Averaged-Out 4...

Wonderful park. From a child's perspective it must be great. The kids playground holds their amusement for hours. The stream with the sand and rocks are equally enchanting. Then there is the small area in the woods with big trees and fun exploring. As an adult, my kids played here and now my grandkids. All equally enjoyed. For adults there is nice park benches and picnic tables and a nice walk path. A great place to enjoy a picnic. Its not a super tricked out park but just a shady, obviously wonderful place for kids. I am not from Lynden but have been to this park over many years of visiting, from 1992 or so up till...

This is our favorite park! It's like a little town for kids to run around and play in! There's one big slide, to get to it, kids have to climb stairs inside a tall tower. At the top, it reminds me of a tree fort, there's windows to look out over the park, and the entrance to the spiral slide is up there. The slide is all enclosed in this building, and exits out the bottom side wall. It's pretty cool! I highly recommend taking your children! There's also another little play area for toddlers. It's great!

This park is our favorite in the summer because of the stream that runs alongside it. It's a fairly shallow stream. Maybe 15 ft wide kids love to throw rocks into it or search for pebbles, make leaf boats. The park had a toddler area and a big kid area. My toddler gets board in the toddler area and often goes to the other side with his sister. Park needs some minor cosmetic repairs on the slide tower exterior, but it is still steucturally sturdy. Tire swing, several money bars, bathroom on site.

This park is amazing, my son loved it. There are washroom facility's and the playground it's selves is mostly fenced in helping to keep the little guys where they are supposed to be. Everything worked and there was little to no graffiti. Atleast nothing offensive that I could see. It appears to be very well looked after and was a great pit stop to let the kids burn off some energy after a long day in the car. My kid says we have to come back with more of his friends.
