Once I walked in for a party of 10 I was seated quickly and welcomed with a smile and loving greetings. This was my first time eating here, and I can say, I DO NOT REGRET eating here one bit. The food is so authentic, delicious, quality was the best I’ve ever tasted, customer service makes you feel at home, loving caring people who own the restaurant. Family owned means authentic, good quality food. I had the Lasagna, Raviolis, and Chicken Fettuccine, with the Cesar salad and I loved every single bite. This place outshines any other restaurant in the category. Definitely coming back, even if it’s a 3 hour drive. 100% satisfied.

Maybe if you know what a REAL Gyro is you would have been as disappointed as I was. Shame on them for even calling g this a gyro! I got the lamb “gyro” and it was disgusting! It’s literally shredded lamb in a pita with an odd tangy; ketchup-like tang. Effie, you can fool the newbies but I know Greek food and the only thing that was pretty good were the potatoes. Even the salad was NOT Greek aside from the pre-crumbled feta and the one Kalamata olive. At least say it’s shredded lamb in a pita. When I politely complained, they knew what a gyro was but they don’t make them. WILL NEVER EVER COME BACK. Gross!

Omfg. The baked spaghetti. Get it. Just do it. Ignore everything else. Ignore everyone else. They’re trying to trick you. To betray you. They don’t know you. They don’t know how much you love cheese. How you adore it. How it speaks to you. Comforts you. Holds you close as your eyes drift close. How you plan your future, your days around its sweet embrace. But I do. I know you. I love you. Get the baked spaghetti and let it be the father you never had. The mom you always wished for. The family you deserve.

We had the best lamb of our lives here. Overall the service is slow and courteous, but the food is good. The lamb is AWESOME.

Here’s the food breakdown: We ordered a lamb gyro with fries and a lamb gyro with roasted potatoes.

The Greek salad was chopped cucumber, onions, peppers seasoned and covered in feta cheese. The composition was unexpected, but delicious. We overheard people waiting for takeout talking about how good the salad is.

The roasted potatoes looked like half of a baked potato without skins. They were cooked perfectly, though I’ve read mixed reviews about that. The seasoning was good, but they were nothing to get excited about.

The server told us that the fries we had were not the restaurant’s normal fries. These were crispy and good.

The lamb was slow-roasted, moist, tender, flavorful, and perfectly salted. I’ve had amazing food in Greece. This is for real the best lamb I’ve had.

The rest of the gyro was okay. The pita was like grocery store pita. The tzatziki was okay. I’ve certainly had better. But I would definitely go back and get the gyro again because of the lamb.

I had a strawberry lemonade, and it was good.

The server was extremely busy, dealing with takeout orders and a few tables. He was nice, funny, and gave us his full attention while he was at our table.

We overheard two different customers at two different times comment that the kitchen is usually slow (expect 30 min after you order), but that the food was worth it. We were there about 90 min. So leave yourself some time...

Great bar steak, and the Caeser salad is one of the very best around. However, the service in the bar is awful. I sat there - AT THE BAR ITSELF - for over 5 minutes while the bartender ignored me while she got drinks for everyone else and fluttered around in the bar taking other people's orders. People who walked in after I did. One of the other waitresses noticed me sitting - AT THE BAR ITSELF, RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE - and asked if I'd been helped. I said no, and she promptly set me up with a beer. The bartender however, continued to ignore me for another full 10 minutes even tho she was literally 3' away from me most of the time. I finally had to be rude and wave the bar menu at her the other lady had brought in order to get her attention. She asked me, seeming kind of surprised, if I wanted anything to eat. What gave it away lady? The BAR MENU IN FRONT OF ME FOR THE LAST 10 MINUTES??? I wasn't even able to catch her eye before I literally waved the damned menu at her. To top it off, I ordered one of the quickest things on the menu and it STILL took like 20 minutes for it to show up - about 5 minutes before I needed to leave for a commitment. Brandi, the previous bartender, rocked. This person sank LIKE a rock. I'd give only a single star if the food wasn't so damned good there.

By all means, go for the food - but don't expect fast service in the bar. Or rather...

Came in with my mom on Friday night ... It was very busy but that was fine and even though it was only our second time here ... I knew exactly what I wanted - shrimp fettuccine Alfredo with the Caesar salad. We were hungry and didn't mind the wait as it was busy and but we were celebrating the end of finals week. It did take about 45 minutes to get our food but it was well worth the wait.

Big portions, the Caesar salad dressing is so delicious I would love to buy some to take home, the Alfredo sauce with the garlic bread is chef kiss. Mom had the BBQ ribs with lasagna...... The bbq sauce and the ribs was the best I have had in years (since raising my own beef) I cannot remember the last time I got ribs and didn't regret it. I had a migraine all day and she had just made fresh coffee which I think I drank most of the pot. When it was time to go the waitress brought us a box to carry our to go boxes out because we had so many.

No pictures because we were so hungry but we will definitely be back. We have had our kitchen in a remodel process for 3 years so we like to eat out as a treat, something we can't make easily at home... Syros is amazing food, a nice place to just decompress with mom.

The leftovers the next day are amazing too 😍...
