This morning, I contacted Happy Feet Reflexology to inquire about the cost of a one-hour foot massage. The representative informed me that the price would be $60 per hour. After agreeing to the price, I promptly made a reservation, and the representative confirmed availability. Upon my arrival, I used the restroom and was greeted by an employee who asked if I had made the reservation. I confirmed, and she inquired if I still wanted the one-hour foot massage. I affirmed, and then she suggested I consider a 30-minute foot massage combined with a 30-minute body massage instead. I declined, stating that I only wanted the foot massage as initially agreed upon. She then requested payment upfront, saying, "Okay, $60, you pay now!" I expressed that I was not willing to pay for a service that had not yet been rendered. The employee insisted that the owner had instructed her to collect payment before providing the service. While I am unsure of others' experiences, I have never been required to pay for a service in advance in such a manner. As a regular patron of self-care services, this experience has led me to reconsider future visits, and Happy Reflexology has unfortunately lost a...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePlease donāt waste your trip. I saw on their website that 1st time customers can get a 1 hour massage for $45. I called and made an appointment. I told her I saw the promotion and she confirmed $45 was the price. I got to the place and told him I just called and I was a first time customer looking to use the promotion on their website. He told me thatās old and they no longer does that. He kept changing the story about why itās no longer $45 over a 10 minute conversation. I let him know the person on the phone confirmed it was $45 and he acted like he didnāt understand. The woman working there just kept talking about me in another language and switching to English to yell at me that was the old price. I asked her why she confirmed $45 on the phone and she would just yell in another language. I ended up just leaving and they chased me out the door saying fine $45 come back. Why would I want someone to massage me after having to haggle with them? Thatās not relaxing! Seems like they just try to get you in the door then...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe massage overall was good BUT here is why Iām rating this low and will not be returning. I called them and asked them how much it would be for the service I want, which they told me it would be $45. Once I got there they kept telling me $60. (even though the sign also said $45). I didnāt want to argue so I just said OK fine. Then they told me I would have to pay before I even got massaged. I am also in the beauty industry, and do services and would not have a client play before, but whatever that was their policy so I paid. The thing that annoyed me the most is that I tipped the lady $7 because you also need to tip BEFORE your massage! If she was good, I was going to give her some more cash at the end like itās suppose to be. I laid down for my massage and they came hassling me to take more saying that there was a minimum 20% tip⦠All they care about is money it seems! They would be more successful If the owner didnāt hassle the...
