Disappointed with My First and Last Order from A1 Pizza

I decided to give A1 Pizza a try last night, ordering takeout for the first time. I’m local and had heard mixed things, but I figured I’d try it myself. I spent around $70 on three pasta dishes and garlic bread, which I was fine with—until we discovered part of the order was missing.

Only my daughter had eaten her meal right away. The rest of us sat down to eat later or the next day and realized the shrimp scampi was missing from the order. I called the restaurant the next day to let them know, expecting a simple apology or even an acknowledgment of the mistake.

Instead, I was basically called a liar. The person on the phone offered no apology or resolution, only saying nothing could be done until the manager came in. There was no customer service at all—just denial and indifference.

If you’re looking for takeout, I highly recommend going to Gencarelli’s or Bruno instead. They’ve always been reliable, and they actually care about...

The place takes forever, if you go in for pickup they ignore you for what seems like forever before they tend to you. The food is amateur at best, the mozzarella sticks are garbage and I don't think they are real cheese. The pizza is good, depending on who makes it. Sometimes they don't cook it long enough. The only reason they get my business is because they are open late. But they honestly need improvement in customer service. The Garlic knots are good but very small they were very disappointing. They are also out of them 90% of the time I order. Like are you out of pizza dough too?! Seriously if they made their quality better and weren't greedy they would make much better business. Worst Pizzeria in the entire tri-state area ! Don't waste your money here. Normally I don't review places but this has to be worst experience I had. Since it is late at night, I only ordered a caesar grilled chicken salad. The chicken had no taste and it seen heated on a microwave since some parts off the chicken was cold.
