Where to begin... buckle up. TLDR: Restaurant great. Hotel GOD AWFUL. Let's start positive, the restaurant is AMAZING. Highly recommend the wings (any flavor), corn dip, and pretzel. Fast service, friendly, and clean! The staff particularly Tyler, Holly, Allie, and Deb were incredible! Now, let's move on to the drama. The hotel... WHAT A JOKE! First, the younger guy with the long red/brown hair, truly insufferable. We showed up WAY early for check in, which we knew. We were just being nosey- wanted to see the place, have a couple beers, walk to the restaurant, have lunch, etc. Without even a "hi" it was an immediate "you can't check in until 4p". Uh, okay buddy! We cleared the air and just explained we were exploring. He stated that was fine and he'd text us if the room was ready early. We shrugged it off and went to have lunch at the restaurant and got some recommendations from our server. It was about an hour until check in when we arrived back, no text, just to hangout and have a beer as we waited. Shift change happened and we immediately got our room with the new staff. Interesting. The gave us our room, 305 Brewmaster Suite. As we walked in I was excited to see the bag of goodies, only to realize it was someone's Popeyes trash. Upon further investigation, this room was NOT cleaned. We headed back down to the lobby and it was a simple mistake, no biggie. We get moved to 304... our room was great, until we got comfy. Dust everywhere, dirty remote, electrical tape holding the door handle to the shower, the area rug with visible dirt/candy wrappers, etc. Not to mention, the visible dust within the facility and the Swedish Fish wrapper by the elevator on the shelf hanging out all weekend. Which, yes... integrity... but at this point it was a game. So our dirty room, hazard of a bathroom between the handle hanging on by tape and the ice skating rink of a slippery shower floor... it's gotta get better? Nope. Breakfast in the morning did not consist of curated Staufs coffee in your room, nor bottomless mimosas down stairs, nothing that's advertised. Breakfast was simply just okay. The other amenities like staffing until 2a and cookies and stout in the evening were virtually nonexistent. Staff hung out in a closet off to the back of the lobby and cookies/stout were never offered, nor was a time given. We did express concern to a restaurant staff who was kind to listen and help rectify. Truly, we felt like tattle tales. However, something needs to be done. If you're paying nearly $900 for a stay in a suite, shower beer package, bells and whistles... in my opinion you should have the time of your LIFE! Then, as we get home... the hits keep coming. A $200 invoice for taxes/fees? Taxes at a 10% rate? What?! Truly, just beware. Reconsider a stay and just check out the restaurant. The stay at the hotel is NOT worth it in the slightest, no one knows what hospitality means.

We struggled at first with communication after booking our room to make sure we could be accommodated with a "pet -friendly" room; we found that emailing was the easiest and quickest way to get a response. Upon arrival, check in was easy, we received our free beers and enjoyed some drinks on the patio during happy hour. Throughout the afternoon, guests could sit anywhere, but when we checked in and went to the room and came back down, we did not realize reservations were then required for seating on the patio and were asked to leave the table we sat back down at. (Not an issue, we just didn't know!) The afternoon server and staff at check in were so amazing! (Friday night dinner staff not so much, but they were busy, so I'll give them that. But we did miss out on the evening cookies as it took a really long time just to get cashed out from dinner.) The leash-free dog run is a really nice area! The whole surrounding grounds are very accommodating for anyone; with or without pets or kids. For a "dog themed" area there are nice accommodations for your pup including the pet friendly rooms, dog run area, free dog treats at every elevator entrance. But while dining, it would have been nice to have something to order for your dog like a pup-cup, chicken and rice bowl, something. As a brewery, even a pup-beer would have been something we would have bought into! They could use more dog-watering stations around. You may get a small bowl of water while on the patio but no other water stations anywhere on site. (The 2 large ponds kind of tease a thirsty dog when no animals are allowed in the water.) The views from the room are so cool! We were on the 3rd floor and the interior corridors overlook the holding casks. Our exterior view overlooked the pond where you could also see the hops fields in the back. We loved the obscure record albums in the room and the working record player to enjoy them! Overall a great place with great drinks, food, and ambiance! We will definitely return again.
