Planet Fitness — Attraction in Madison Township

I “belong” to the pickerington location on 256 and once a friend of mine told me about this location I’ve been hooked as it’s clean, better lighting and new equipment has been added in addition to the already nice variety. Adding the row machines let’s me know that whoever is the owner actually prides their business. I literally drive 12 minutes to get to and from this location when the other location is 5 minutes . I’m willing to do the drive when the atmosphere actually motivates me to keep going. This location has stair masters and kettlebells as well, my main purposes, and just overall a nice place to go. I rated 3 stars because it is NOT 24 hours, and mainly because here it is 5:20a on a Monday and the building is still dark and not opened, 20 minutes past opening time . Countless members are here waiting and we are up this early because I’m sure we all have to be at work and tend to our morning routines and inconvenienced right now by not being opened on time when you should be 24 hours...

Thought I wrote a review already but I guess it didn't go through. This is a cool location to go to being ad it's around anything u could potentially need (stores etc.) The staff are always friendly. There was this staff member (haven't seen him in like a month which sucks) but he truly holds the nonjudgmental thing like. I feel the belonging part that PF insists on when he works. Which is phenomenal because I have anxiety and he makes it 100% (if I see him again I'll come back and update the review) also on the other hand. There was a staff member that pushed this app sign-in thing, to the point I didn't think he was gonna let me in if I didn't have it. (I understood but the way my storage was set up on my phone lol wasn't no room) bit regardless all n all. This is a great location. Yes u can shower here for those that get a great work out in and or for those that need a touch up-just inform the front desk u used the shower and they'll clean it out for ya. Thanks guys,...

All memberships were paused their to Covid. Later, they were restarted and member fees were charged again. I began exercising at home. I forgot to cancel. Then I noticed a $41 charge on my card for the annual fee. I tried to cancel online but PF does not allow that. I went in to cancel and they did cancel but wouldn’t refund my monthly fee. Fine But, I asked for the annual fee (which is for the coming year) to be refunded. They said they couldn’t! I had to cancel before the charge per my agreement. They force you to come in to cancel even during Covid. I emailed the regional manager who doubled down and refused to refund. She said it was due to Covid that they couldn’t cancel??? Do not join PF! I enjoyed the experience exercising there but PF management and policy itself is not customer friendly, claims Covid to keep your money and makes ludicrous claims why they can’t refund fees for something you never used!! Pay a little more and go somewhere that...
