Skyline Chili — Restaurant in Madison Township

Let me just tell you about this place: Years ago the kids and I watched a food show (who knows which one!) that talked about Skyline Chili. So when in Ohio, right? To top off an already awesome day this is what happened - we walked in the door, still in my mortar board (because my hair is not salvageable) and EVERYONE congratulated me. Everyone! The cooks, customers, servers - it was so kind and fun. Our server, Samantha, was an absolute treat. She made trying something new such a positive experience - if my family did not love trying new things they would have after this!!! She spoiled us and chatted with us almost the entire time. When we left I made sure the manager knew how impressed we were with our experience and yet again I received another round of congrats. Unbeknownst to me the manager also bought my lunch. Even waiting at the stoplight after leaving was memorable - talking with people next to us who just wanted to wish me well. Ohio you are first class! WoW! Such a bad 1st time experience.

Stay away at night. Chloè the manager was very disrespectful and loudly talking bad about customers and how they order Hotdogs in the Drive Thru. They were cursing and carrying on about it. About 5 employees. Was pretty uncomfortable to witness and was cringe. They went on talking about the amount of manager complaint logs and how they don't care and nothing is ever done anyways.

It became laughable as I just sat there waiting at my table for my order, listening.

Wes the waiter was cool and hope he got the tip provided. He was walking on egg shells seemingly. Hang in there dude. This job is just a stepping stone for you. Good luck.

Owners need to take a good look at the lack of Customer Service at this location and how the food is being prepared and presented. Very unacceptable behavior by all accounts at the very least.

Food was poorly prepared and didn't taste good. Soggy fries right out the gate. I will not be returning and will second guess going to another location for sures.

I have been going to skyline my entire life. My family goes several times a month. This location has been going downhill for quite some time now, and it hit an all time low when we went last Saturday. There was one sever on the floor and he seemed new and was trying his best. There were 4 or 5 people on the line that were doing absolutely nothing. Took forever to get drinks because the one server was swamped, then took forever to make our food because the line people were on their phones. The manager on duty was the only other person actually working, but wasn't holding the crew accountable. The restaurant itself seems really dingy like it hasn't been cleaned properly in years. The tile at the bar has been a mess for years. The bathroom is very gross, and I cringe when my child says they need to go while we're there. Like I said, we really love skyline, but this particular location is making it hard to continue returning because of the poor appearance, lack of cleaning, and now poor service on top.
