I brought myself and my kids here for dinner for probably the hundredth time since we've lived in this neighbood and ordered both mine and my daughters dinner with fried rice. The woman brought my daughters out with white rice which she didn't want. When I told her it was supposed to be fried rice and she said she'd have to charge me an extra dollar. Now I don't particularly care about a dollar but I didn't want my credit card ran again. Then she said she could add it to the tip (which I already signed and tipped) and she said I didn't order fried rice which I am sure I did. Instead of exhibiting decent customer service and just changing it to fried rice she continued to argue even after I explained I specifically ordered fried rice. I have never in my life had any server or customer service argue with me about a dollar. We used to love it here but after today I will never return. I have worked in customer service my entire life and would never dream of arguing with...
Read moreThis is fast, cheap, and the staff are super friendly and nice. The lunch special is a lot of food for the price and is cheaper and usually ready for pick-up in less time than you would spend in a drive-thru line.
That being said, this isn't good food. It has all of the sins of midwestern Chinese food: gloppy, overly sweet sauces, flavorless sauces, and the "spicy" food being less spicy than spicy Cheez-its. They are really great with the meat and veggies, though; the meat is tender and in identifiable pieces, and the veggies are great and crisp-tender. Although it isn't good, it is inexpensive and that makes up for a lot of sins.
Speaking of sins, however, whatever you do, DON'T get the "crab Rangoon." It's these really weird flat triangles that are 99% crunchy dough hold about half a Tablespoon of some vaguely crab-like paste (not cream cheese by any stretch) in the middle. Stick with the egg rolls, which are...
Read moreVery very blah. The waiter was rude. I again ordered chicken cashew. Very very very spicy and very very wet with fried rice and hot sour soup. He brought out dumpling soup and did not replace it when I told him it was the was the wrong soup. I did taste it and their was barely any chicken flavor at all. I comprehend they boiled the chicken bones a few to many days. The chicken dish was not spicy at all in fact it was sweet. And cashews were tiny and few. When I pointed this out to the waited he snatched the plate off the table and instead of having another portion prepared he simply threw a tiny bit of hot pepper seed oil over the chicken bits stirred and brought it back to me. He turned and never came back. That was fine. I am still looking for a Asian foods restaurant that is as delicious as the place in Pickerington. I'm going back there soon! DRAGON CHINA FOOD IS DISGUSTING AND OLD MAN...
