I’m not a fan of BW3 and haven’t been for years, but after 6 hours at the baseball field we needed food and some air conditioning. The last time we went to a BW3 was my son’s 8th birthday, and it was so awful that I swore I’d never go to one again. But, the kids begged to go, so we gave in and got to the restaurant at 2pm(Sunday afternoon of Labor day weekend), and we told the hostess that we had a party of 16, but that we were happy to be split up amongst 3 tables if it was easier for them. The hostess told us they’d need to confer with their manager about it. After about 5 minutes she comes back out and tells us we’d have to sit out on the patio to accommodate all of us, and that they couldn’t put us in the main dining room because the tables available were in two different server’s sections. We were hot, hungry and tired and we just wanted to be inside to cool off. After the second trip to confer with their manager, he finally came out to speak to us. We asked him if we could be split into 3 different tables but he was unwilling to accommodate us, kept telling us that we’d have to wait until there was enough empty tables in one section or sit out in the heat. So we left and ended up at O-Charley’s down the road…where we told them party of 16, willing to split up, and they were more than accommodating. They pushed tables together and we were seated within minutes, our server was wonderful and the food was great! This was my last ever trip to Buffalo Wild Wings. In the last 15 years the quality of their food has dropped substantially, the prices have gone up and the service has been horrible. When you’re in the mood for chicken wings avoid BW3 at all costs, find a Rooster’s and enjoy their great food, atmosphere...
Read moreNever had a bad experience here before until tonight.... Went in with my uncle for a early father's day meal. Upon arrival, had to stand in the lobby for a unreasonable amount of time. Received a booth, finally, in the back. Had a waitress who was on her second day, which is absolutely fine. We both started out ordering PBR draft. "We don't carry that anymore." Okay, he ordered Bud Light, I ordered Bud. "We're out of Bud." Okay, Bud Light is fine. We both love to get the house sampler as a platter. "We're out of onion rings." Jokingly but sarcastically I asked her what they did have? She said "You don't have to eat here. I won't charge you for the drinks." We asked if something can be substituted for the onion rings like fries or fried mushrooms. She went back to check. Another staff member came to the table and asked if we had a problem with the waitress. I said that everything we seemed to order was either no longer a option or you are out of it so we just asked if something else can be substituted in place. He said that he would not be selling the house sampler without onion rings in stock because he was not going to substitute something else in place of it because if he makes the exception for us he would have to make that exception for everyone. His demeanor was unprofessional like he was talking down to us as if it was unreasonable to ask for what we came there for and to even ask for a substitute for what they were out of stock of. We left the beers on the table and walked out. I've eaten here many times without issues and friendly service. Not today! I believe that it will be the...
Read moreMy very first experience at this Buffalo Wild Wings location was somewhat mixed. The staff that greeted us when we walked into the restaurant were friendly and polite. The place was packed and full of people, but we were seated very quickly. Which was a huge plus because I was STARVING and didn't want to wait!
The young lady who served us was a attentive as she could be for the number of people she has to provide service for. She made sure our first round of water came quick. That was the only one we received for the night. We were ok with that because we both ordered mixed drinks to go along with the meal.
There was a special on wings that night. So we both decided to grab a few different flavors. The young lady got my friends order correct: 2 orders of wings in 2 sauces. Great. My order on the other hand...totally different sorry. I ordered: 2 smaller orders of cauliflower wings in 2 sauces. I ended up receiving: 1 large order of cauliflower wings and 2 smaller orders as well (2 sauces were right, just not the quantity). I informed the young lady of the error. She apologised for the mistake and told me she "just thought that's what I wanted". She didn't change the order out. She simply said sorry and walked away...
When the bill arrived I was charged for the 2 small AND the large. She didn't alter the bill due to her mistaken.
I was too bothered by the entire situation to even bother with asking for a the manager. I just wanted to get out and get home.
It was a cool stop, just didn't care for the extended wait after being seated and the unneed expense due to...
