Scramblers — Restaurant in Madison Township

It’s unfortunate that I had such a horrible experience, and I hate to chalk it up to racial differences, but seeing that the majority of complaints in these reviews are from African American people, it basically confirms what I had thought the entire time I was in this establishment. Firstly, when my friend and I arrived we asked if we could be seated outside. The host said “i don’t care where you sit. You can sit there, (pointing to the waiting bench) you can there (pointing to the floor), you can sit there, (pointing to the door). That immediately rubbed us the wrong way. We were sat outside and they did not bring us a pitcher with our water or even open our umbrella for us, yet when another party was seated outside they opened their umbrella and brought them a water pitcher. The service was honestly terrible, they took forever to even come and take our order. Our server was short with us, and couldn’t wait to leave our presence as soon as they could. It was really a bad experience, one that I’ve had at another location as well. Overall, choose this place with caution and be prepared to be met with disengaged service...

I'd like to tell you how great the food was, and how I had a great server. Then I would be lying to you... I can tell you how cold the water is though. I came here after fasting for blood work. The server/host got me seated and laughed and joked with me. Brought me a water and then proceeded to just walk by me multiple times and never ask me if I was still OK, or if I wanted to place my order. 10 minutes and nothing.. Never placed my order never cared that I was just sitting there for ten minutes starving and was ready to spend my money there. It wasn't even busy. There were 3 tables and they were all eating and also not getting checked. I had a horrible experience. I had a ridiculously horrible server. I guess I'll never know how good the food is at this location because no one bothered to let me have any of it. EDIT: The same day I posted this I posted this to the Scramblers site for complaints. Sunday Aug 20th. Went in for Brunch and ordered what has become pretty much my standard meal. South of the Border omelet with fruit & Blueberry muffin. Coffee and water.

Got a young server who was very impressed with herself and thought she was being cool with her very effusive talk & attitude. The problem was she wasn't concerned with the customers at the table. She was very quick to drop off the ticket & completely ignored me when I tried to ask her a question. I got her attention and asked for a carafe of coffee (as that usually what they bring me). 10 minutes later nothing.

Got a manager (who said she was the dining room supervisor) talked with her. She apologized & took my ticket even though I not to. Still no refill on coffee, finally saw my server & reminded her of the coffee. She finally brought it after a few minutes & used the standard excuse that they were busy.

Overall the food was good, the service on this day was not up to the standard...
