The Red Zone on GameDay was the perfect atmosphere to watch the early game while pre-partying for the Badger football game. Drinks were in the expected price range. It was odd that you could readily get into the building, but they were restricting people from getting into the outdoor beer garden. Thinking it was some weird Madison overregulation. All-in-all, a great place to be on game day.

Great place to pre-game. Not many places offer mixers at the outdoor bar, usually easier to just do cans or beer n seltzers, but the Res Zone does! Plenty of porta-potty’s to use as well!!! Great job RZ, you guys have it figured out and made our visit spectacular!

Friendly staff, spacious establishment and great food and drinks. We had the nachos and it was delicious! Great place to watch your favorite teams play. There is also a stage in the back where bands can perform and other celebrations can be held.

Food was good, but the service was poor.

During the mid-afternoon on Sunday 10/23 we walked in and the waitress and bartender just stood there and looked at us. It wasn't busy at all, with just a couple groups of customers watching the NFL games. We weren't sure whether to seat ourselves, but neither the waitress or bartender said anything. After a few awkward moments of standing there we asked if we should seat ourselves. Finally one of them spoke up and said "sure".

The waitress was pleasant when taking our order and serving the beverages and food, but it took a long time for her to come back and we all needed soda refills. It wasn't like she was busy; we could see her on the other end of the restaurant watching the NFL games rather than checking in on her customers.

I'm giving Red Zone 3 stars in my review, based on averaging the 1 star for poor service and 5 stars for...

This is for The Annex side since I wasn't in the sports bar side. The bar seemed to be kind of lacking with drinks from what I could see. It was really basic bar for the back area, but the staging area is nice for standing/dancing and sitting room.

Great area for the stage and being able to be close to who is playing for interaction and photos, or being able to sit more in the back. May be a little more difficult to get around for someone with mobility disabilities depending on how severe but I was able to navigate around alright myself with my cane. Still a fair amount of space for a wheelchair also but the tables are high along with the stools.

Suggest bringing concert earplugs with the large speakers...

The bands were great, the building itself was fairly decent (although better signage for where to go for the show would have been appreciated).

Unfortunately all the positives are overwritten by a bar staff that doesn't know when to cut people off. The first band hadn't even finished and I already ran out of fingers to count the the patrons so drunk they could barely stand. Luckily I didn't see it, but there were multiple people so drunk they were losing their lunch on the floor with OTHER PATRONS cleaning it up. Unless it's a one off show, I think I would rather travel then catch...
