I was looking for a nice coffee place that had good food and good coffee of course and I came across this place and it had good reviews so my boyfriend and I decided to give it a try.
Since it is Covid times, we placed the order online and when I was at the checkout process there was a curbside option, it even asked what kind of car we had so I entered all the info. We arrived a few minutes earlier than the time it said it was going to be ready, we waited like 20 minutes and no one brought the food to us: I called, I told them we chose the curbside option and she said: “I am sorry, we are not doing that right now we are very busy” so I had to get out of the car and wait for someone to come outside and call out my name; I didn’t mind that but it would have been nice to know about that.
There were like 20-22 people waiting outside and most of them without masks and not respecting the social distance even though Indie had some rules about that posted on the window, it seemed they didn’t care at all.
We had The works waffle: The few pieces I could eat were ok and I say that because by the time we got home it was very soggy, they put all the toppings on top of it. I would have liked that they put it on the side, I know they were busy but it would have taken a few seconds to do that. The strawberries tasted like if they were just thawed. I was excited to try their waffles but I ended up disappointed.
Bacon, egg and cheddar bagel: it was nice but I think it needed some creamy dressing to make it even better.
Cappuccino: it was tasty but my cup was half empty so unfortunately I couldn’t...

Read moreI got the chicken focaccia sandwich today. While the service was good, the sandwich was totally bereft of any taste at all. It should be renamed to the Memories of Flavor sandwich. It was unseasoned chicken breast with mayo and spinach. The bread was good, but the contents were so basic they could neutralize acid. If there was someone I hated, whose day I wanted to ruin, I would recommend this sandwich so my misery would have company.
I tried to give the sandwich a fair shot and ate about half in an attempt to find something redeemable about it, perhaps in a last ditch effort to convince myself that I had not wasted $10. I also sought a refund but was refused. The sandwich, whose essence is best described as “I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed,” was tossed into a nearby trash can where I can only imagine it was promptly ignored by flies in favor of other, more appetizing garbage.
The employees were perfectly polite and professional. This review is entirely my...
