Gorilla Carts Review: A Disappointing Investmentâ Rating: 1/5 Stars - DO NOT RECOMMENDProduct: Gorilla Poems Wagon Cart 2000 M23Purchase Date: April 10th Review Date: After 1+ year of useThe Promise vs. RealityI made the mistake of trusting Gorilla Carts' marketing and replaced my reliable 30-year-old wheelbarrow with their "heavy-duty" wagon cart. What I got was a product that couldn't even last through its first year without major failures.Critical Quality IssuesPaint Failure - A Manufacturing DisasterAfter just one year of normal use, the paint began peeling off in massive sheets. This isn't normal wear and tear - this is a clear manufacturing defect where the paint failed to properly adhere to the primer. Large sections of the cart body are now exposed, showing what appears to be poor surface preparation during manufacturing. This is apparently a known issue dating back to the 1980s, yet Gorilla Carts continues to sell products with the same defective paint process.Complete Tire System FailureEvery single tire on this cart has failed. They don't just go flat - they completely lose the ability to hold air. One by one, each tire became useless, making the cart impossible to use for its intended purpose.Abysmal Customer ServiceWhen I contacted Gorilla Carts about these obvious manufacturing defects, their representatives:â˘Refused to stand behind their productâ˘Denied any responsibility for the quality issuesâ˘Hid behind corporate policies instead of addressing legitimate concernsâ˘Showed no interest in customer satisfaction or product improvementThe Real CostI disposed of a wheelbarrow that served me faithfully for three decades, expecting this "upgrade" to provide similar longevity. Instead, I'm facing the reality that this cart likely won't make it to five years - and that's being generous.A Pattern of DeceptionThe evidence suggests this is a manufacturer reject where basic quality control failed, yet it was sold as a premium product. When customers experience these predictable failures, the company's response is to deny and deflect rather than take responsibility. My RecommendationSave your money and look elsewhere. Gorilla Carts appears to be a company that prioritizes marketing over manufacturing quality. Their products may look impressive in advertisements, but the reality is poor construction, defective materials, and non-existent customer support. You don't need a good product when you have great marketing - but customers deserve better than this bait-and-switch approach to business.Photos AvailableI have documented evidence of both the paint failure and tire issues. The photos clearly show the extent of the manufacturing defects that Gorilla Carts refuses to acknowledge.Bottom Line: This is not a product I would recommend to anyone. The combination of poor quality, known defects, and terrible customer service makes Gorilla Carts a...
Read moreI have been going to this Walmart since I moved to the area. Every weekend and even weekdays the shelves are empty. I donât even see any associates to help if I needed something. Some of the cashiers I came across are nice some donât seem to care.
Incident #1 I bought a large trash can and just asked the cashier whatâs the price because the shelves never have the accurate price. She told me that she doesnât know and canât tell. Ok wow. Thanks!
Incident #2 went to return an item I bought at Walmart and the lady processing my return said the item wasnât found? How come when I got it at their store. She then said I got it at another Walmart? Ok well if I got it at a Walmart anywhere in the USA then you can take it at this location too. Then she told me they donât sell this item at their store. This made me laugh because I got the item at this location 3 weeks ago and the item is in the nail care section. She didnât bother to check or anything. I walked away and ignored her.
I just feel most of the associates donât know where the items are or if their stores sell such items. I get it there are tons of items in the store but you should be able to look at the item in the store shelves etc. Of course, looking for things takes effort and the associates donât want to put in the effort.
I also donât feel safe driving to this location because lots of the drivers are aggressive and donât know when itâs their turn to go or not. They speed through the parking lot. Many are just eager to get out and honk for no reason. Not sure where they want to go but I donât see whatâs the reason for being restless.
Glad am moving to another state and a bigger city with more options to shop at Walmart. I will limit going to this location moving forward and better to order stuff online.
Please improve your services and try to stock shelves. The pandemic has been going on since 1 and half years now and most things are back to their normalcy. It either could be they donât stock their shelves at night as no staff comes to work or they donât know what their stores customer...
Read moreThis store always seems to be somewhat dirty, but it might just be showing its age. My experiences here range from decent to terrible, but the terrible ones stick out the most, which is unfortunate, because there are some genuinely nice people, but other employees really just don't care about customers. Some cashiers give you a hard time with price matching, while others will do it without too many questions. Some cashiers give you a hard time if your coupon doesn't scan for a product you bought, even when it should clearly apply to the item (I've been told ridiculous things like "you must use it on the item pictured" as an excuse, when the coupon says something like "$2 off any [brand] item." They can't possibly put a picture of every single item they make.) Some of the employees at the service desk will treat people trying to make simple returns like criminals, which makes the lines very long--I've waited 20 minutes because employees were opening up items to inspect them (I don't know why, because surely you can't resell them once you've opened and broken the seals after verifying that it wasn't used). I've never returned an item that I've used, but the most recent time I tried to return a couple items, one of the associates was trying to tell me I was committing fraud and tried to embarrass me in front of the huge line that was there, and continued to talk about me loudly to her colleagues (while there was still a huge line) as I was leaving. This goes without saying: that is extremely rude, and definitely a way to lose a customer.
Another story from this Walmart: I was in line when a customer came by to return a bag of Tootsie Pops. He had purchased them recently, but they had expired two years prior. I didn't catch all the details about what he was saying, but I think he broke his tooth on them and the company that makes them and Walmart were giving him the run around. Yikes.
Basically, I'm only going to be shopping here if I need to, but you can bet that I'm going to try almost any other store in the area before...
