Hinkley Park — Attraction in Maine Township

Hinkley is awesome. As we see it, it's the best pool park ridge has. It's a hidden gem. Rectangle pool with a diving board. No frills. Not over crowded, has a picnic area, and lots of seating. Yes you can bring food in, unlike the garbage rules at centennial since they remodelled a few years back. Families can just enjoy themselves without having to lay on top of other people or be yelled at for bringing a picnic. We can only hope park ridge doesn't ruin it with trying to add a concession stand and consiquently banning outside food to protect revenues.

Really awesome place to just go after work with the kids.

Nice park but parking off NorthwestHwy fills up fast, if you miss out you will have to park on Busse Rd which if you do depending on where you park get ready for a walk. There's a fence along park on Busse with only 2 entrances into park . So if your handicap or have baby stroller be prepared to walk and no sidewalk...

I was on diamond 1...it's good, except

1. the backstop hangs over into fair territory, which means that balls hit up which would be infield flies, hit the fence and become foul.
