The place looks great! Very clean and vibrant. We went at 9am on a Sunday and were seated right away. When we left around 1015 there was a long line. We sat down and saw the QR code to order so we thought we had to use that. After entering a few items the waitress did come by. We told her we ordered via the app. She said 'great!' and never checked on us again. A group of people arrived after us, ordered with the waitress, and they got their food 10 minutes faster. Maybe it's because the people in the kitchen had to bring us our meal instead of a waitress? Next time I'll order via the human. I had the Pistachio Iced Latte, which unfortunately I didnt love. My husband ordered the Mimosa flight- he said it was "interesting." My child had the strawberry lemonade and he loved it. For breakfast I had the Nova Lox - loved it. My hubby had the Village omelet and he enjoyed that. We also shared the Lemon Blueberry Pancake and that was tasty. My child had a huge plate of pancakes and bacon. It also came with some fresh fruit on the side. The waitress never came back but at least one of the owners stopped by to ask how were doing and if we needed anything else. That was nice. Oh...and our water was also refilled periodically. A nice new spot. I like how they have pastries to go, which I will need to one day stop by...
Read moreWalked in and was greeted by a no hair man who had no smile or personality. I was by myself and he brought me to a small booth but said that he needed to check if the table was clean. I looked around and there was plenty of clean tables so I don’t know what he was thinking.m. The busboy who brought me the water smiled and had more personality than the owner or manager. I sat looking at the menu for more than five minutes and that same busboy noticed I have not been served and he had to flag someone. I ordered a pistacho croissant and Dubai French toast. Croissant was flaky but the filling had an odd consistency and way too much of it. Food took a while but it all made sense when it arrived. I received a block of bread that was grilled and filled with some pistachio cream. Presentation was on point but the inside of the bread was well just a piece of bread. Didn’t finish it and ate the berries instead. When I asked for the check the server brought some iPad but I needed to pay with cash so she had to go back and get the check. Cute spot and all but a block of bread with a fancy decoration doesn’t do it for me oh and let’s not forget the weird interaction of the owner/manager. He needs to smile and create a welcoming environment. Won’t come back...
Read moreI went to Elia cafe with my sister and the entire experience blew me away. Right off the bat, as soon as we walked in, we were very nicely greeted by the owner Billy, who talked to us and personally seated us at our table. Billy was periodically coming back to our table and making sure all of our needs were met. He also came back towards the end of our meal with an açai bowl that we didn’t order but wanted us to try that was on their menu. It was absolutely delicious. It was the most delicious açai bowl I have ever had. I also ordered the iced honey latte that was so delicious. It wasn’t artificially sweetened like some of the other lattes you have had at other cafés instead, it tasted as though it was sweetened with pure honey. The freshness and quality ingredients of the food also blew me away. May I just add that on top of all of this the atmosphere and the liveliness of the restaurant was impeccable. This was definitely one of the best experiences I have ever had at a café. I will definitely be returning to try their delicious...
