Update….”Granola-gate!!” since the owner labeled my review as misleading…here’s food for thought…. They charge $1.50 for extra granola…did they give me back $1.50 for not getting granola? No?!? 🤣🤣 I did decline their freebie. I’m wasn’t posting for that. I’ll be back to see if they fix this issue but do better and don’t give weak excuses for poor items..

I’ve been there 3x. This place is inconsistent. When I went there last week they were fine. This is what I received this week.. Can’t believe I was charged $12.95 for what looks like 1/2 a serving. This place has also become a tween / Maine South hang out, so I don’t recommend dining in, I guess, unless you are a tween…. Too bad. I had high hopes for this place. I visited Bonita Bowl again today to give it another try, and it was exceptional! I ordered a smoothie bowl, and it was absolutely delicious. I have a gluten allergy, and they were very accommodating, which I greatly appreciated. The staff was incredibly friendly, the food was high quality, and the taste was excellent.

During my first visit, it was clear they were still finding their footing as a brand-new business, and unfortunately, the food wasn’t great that day. However, the owner responded to my original review and offered to make it right—and I’m so glad I took them up on it!

The food today completely changed my experience, and I’ll definitely be returning. They’re right around the corner from my chiropractor, so this will be the perfect stop for lunch afterward.

Braved the cold to get the bowl!

Such a pretty space; love the colorful wisteria hanging from the ceiling, the neon wall sign and the area where the trash goes. Even the tables have the colorful brand signature all over it.

Frank was pretty nice, took my order and handed me a Yelp color changing spoon. How cool. Although, this Bonita Bowl location has only been open since December, the owner is very ambitious. It was shared that there is another store opening soon in LaGrange and the owner also decided to franchise. Nice.
