My first time here I came in at 6:10 knowing they closed at 7:30 asking for a full set a few days ago on 4/26. I showed the lady the design I wanted & she said okay & started to do my nails then convinced me of getting a pedicure as well. I asked if she’s sure that there’s enough time for both & she said yes then stopped my nails & started my pedicure. She started to put gel polish on my toes & I told her I wanted regular and she made a face repeating “regular?” (With a eww look). Which I then replied, “yes regular”. She also didn’t offer me a water when the lady sitting next to me got offered a water. Then As she was doing my pedicure she was talking to a man in Chinese who asked to see what I wanted. I then realized she didn’t know how to do the design even though she acted like she knew how to at first. so after my pedicure she sat me with someone else to do the acrylic set. It was close to closing time & I could tell the lady she gave me to wasn’t too happy about staying later. The lady who did my pedicure shaped the nails prior to the other lady doing the rest. They were really short so I asked the other lady if she could lengthen it a little when she puts the acrylic powder on (no biggie I thought). This lady then laughed 3 separate times after asking if the shape was okay & i responded “yeah”. After the 3rd laugh of her asking if it was okay then me saying yeah and her mocking me saying “yeah, then **chuckles**” I asked her what’s so funny? She then responded that “it was a laugh of relief that she was done because it took more time for her having to add length”.(Mind you this lady laughed two other times before it was even done). It definitely felt rushed when I didn’t even care for a pedicure in the first place especially if I knew my hands were going to be rushed by someone else. I really wanted to love this place as it’s close to my house and the inside is beautiful. the people did not match the way the inside of the building looks, HIGH CLASS. Definitely not worth the $135 I spent. (They we’re two older woman both with glasses, one does pedicures mainly, wearing a black shirt & the other was in a pink shirt w/ lash extensions who did my hands —forgot to get names)

I have gotten my nails done here a few times now since I moved to the Maitland area. This salon is nice and I have been happy with the way my nails have come out every time. I have long acrylic nails. I also haven't had issues with breaking my nails so I know the quality is good. However, my only issue is that appointments aren't really honored. I came in with my boyfriend last week after work because we had to go to his basketball game later that evening. I had a manicure (more like a fill, not a complete manicure) and pedicure scheduled. There were 2.5 hours between the start of my appointment and his basketball game, which I thought would be enough. At my previous salon in Winter Springs my manicure would take an hour and my pedicure would take 45 minutes. Give or take. I was getting no design on my fingernails, just color this time. When we came in at 3 they did my pedicure no problem. However, I watched the employee who was meant to do my manicure immediately afterwards take a walk-in and begin her pedicure as mine was wrapping up. I sat in the manicure chair waiting trying not to make a big deal of it. I set my timer. After 30 minutes of not being served and watching new customers come in and get helped immediately I got up and said something to the employee working reception. She got the owner involved, but I still had to wait an extra ten minutes before my manicure started. Eventually, it got too close to the basketball game, with my 40 minute wait, that my boyfriend had to leave without me and I had to Uber to his basketball game. I made it there around half time. So if you come here I do not recommend scheduling more than one service as you may be forced to wait long periods of time between those services! Because I don't know why I bothered making an appointment if I had to wait 40 minutes anyway. In the future, I will only come here when I do not have anything else going on in the evening and have the patience for it. Or if I only need one service done. But a good place to come if you have time and no other obligations.

I was looking for a new salon that was close to me and that it was clean, welcoming, and that the staff was able to take care of what I needed and I found it! The experience at Maitland Nails and Spa made me realize that the salon I was going to was not treating me well and they did not appreciate my business! By the time you walk in, you can see how clean the spa is. It is organized, each member has a protective layer to use for manicures, the use liners for the pedicures and always keeping up with the set up and cleanliness of the spa. We were greeted a bit after entering and even though they were very busy and with no appointment, we were taken care of withing minutes. We had to wait for our pedi techs, but we were already seated and soaking our feet. I have ingrown nails and Anna took care of me. Just by me telling her, she did it and with no pain! I have found my new girl! Linda took care of mom and she did a good job too. Both ladies did a regular manicure (we are taking a break from gel) and it was good. During checkout, I was rung up by a very nice girl (I can't remember her name) and I asked her if someone could do a gel mani French but a thick tip, she not only took the time to ask if it could be done and suggested who could do it for us. Next time, I will be trying it and excited to see how they will come out. Prices are good and quality and detail is placed in every task. Overall, it was a good and pleasant experience and we will definitely come back!

I have been a few times based on a referral and the service was ok at best, pedicures scheduling and wait times need improvement. However my latest experience wasn’t good. Tony and Niki were extremely unprofessional and rude today regarding our recent cancellation. My daughter and I had a family emergency today and had to cancel. We were told that moving forward we can no longer make any appointments and everything would need to be a walk in. My daughter called and spoke with Tony who was speaking over her-very nastily & who unfairly “profiled” us as always being late. He claimed we had three prior cancellations (which is a lie) there were only two previous cancellations, one which was today and one other time. The fact is I am a customer. I have a choice on where I will spend my money. As a business, your job is to gain customers trust by treating them right, being accommodating & treating ALL customers fairly with respect . The facts are: Every single time we have made an appointment, your appointments have always overlapped DUE to all of your walk ins who were prioritized before us, yet we patiently waited until Niki was available without any complaints, we paid full price for our services. My daughter was always very kind and supportive of your business, she’s even referred new customers to you at one point. It is very clear to me now that our business and our kind is actually not welcomed based on recent events. From what I’ve constantly observed, I know you wouldn’t have dared to treat any of your white customers with such blatant disrespect, EVEN the time when they were yelling and causing trouble & my daughter stood up for your employee who was mistreated and humiliated by your client! I’m so grateful for the clarity today, we will gladly take our business elsewhere. I DO NOT recommend this business. Your greed, bad character and lack of integrity towards us will be your “Karma” in the end. God sees...
