Nordstrom Rack — Attraction in Manalapan Township

I was invited to the pre-opening event and I couldn’t decline the invite. It was crowded with the line wrapping around the store but it was organized and they had an employee with a large sign at the back of the line so you knew where to find it. This will become a go to stop when I’m looking to browse. It’s located near other stores I shop in and I’m looking forward to going back when it’s less crowded. I will add, there was a sneaker I asked if they had in the back in my size and the guy stated they weren’t pulling any shoes from the back, that they would restock the next day. Meanwhile they were pulling other items from the back all night. I’m sure this was likely due to it being a pre-opening event but still, it would have been nice for them to look for it, I wasn’t asking them to restock the shelves. Store is the smallest one in NJ. Shopping experience here is unpleasant and cumbersome due to the lack of room. Clothing racks are jammed and sales floor is cluttered so it is impossible to use a shopping cart. It reminds me of the Englishtown Flea Market. Shoe dept is tiny and there is no where to sit and try shoes on due to the aisles being so narrow. Good luck trying to find a salesperson if you shop on weekends and be prepared to wait on an extremely long checkout line no matter when you shop.
