Stopped in here about 2 years ago cause my daughter is interested in family heritage. Our car over heated when we got there and this in turn kept us there just long enough to meet the Rabbi. Our interaction with the Rabbi got my daughters practicing. Maybe not the right way but trying as kids do. My wife embracing Judaism. I thought it was a great talk but my approach is more what is a Jew and a clear scientific definition of the conclusion. I'm trying to get all 7 in my family to agree on what a Jew is and what does this mean before we visit a synagogue but know one agrees yet. Basically the interaction inspired further growth in knowledge wisdom and understanding of Judaism. The triune of growth I guess. The Rabbi lit the candle and inspired my children. Sorry for my dyslexic English and yes I know the mother rule but the Hershmans are Appalachian/coal mine Jews from Silselia Poland who practiced Judaism unique and the Erbs are Swiss Crypto Jews or Jews who hid as Mennonites who lie about there nature till this day.
