Ethio African Grocery Store — Local services in Lancaster

My wife (Ethiopian) and I have been loyal customers of this store for 2 years giving them hundreds of dollars of business. We decided to try buying one of their 25 pound bags of teff flour which cost $60. We bought the "teff" from Tekalig Chafo on August 8. Well when my wife went to make injera with it we immediately noticed it was adulterated with who knows what chemicals/white flour/saw dust filler. The injera would quickly turn from brown to white while cooking it (real teff doesn't do that) from whatever cheap chemical crap they added to the "teff" to bulk it up with fake fillers to cheat their customers and increase their margins. My wife called the owner and informed him there was something wrong and the teff wasn't teff and we planned to return it. He talked down to my wife and complained you already opened it. Duh--how would we know they put adulterated crap in the bag if we hadn't opened it and tried to make injera. Finally he said he would call the distributor and then call us back. Well no return call and he won't answer the phone now either. Charlatans. Most Ethiopians are great people (like my wife). People like these give Ethiopians a bad name. ONLY SHOP HERE IF YOU WANT TO RISK THE ENDANGERMENT OF YOUR HEALTH WITH THE LIKELIHOOD OF GETTING ADULTERATED...

They have incredible Amazing sales prices for foods and other items of their products and brands. They are very friendly generous and helpful with treating all customers with respect. Their prices are moderate expensive and great lower rate. They are very cleaned and organized well. They have a large parking spaces available. They do not delivery. They explained the quality of the brand and products are very important and fantastic great. They have the best African no cook food and a African grocery store....

Purchased a 25 pound bag of teff. Well, it's fake and full of chemical-saw dust-other compounds. Turns from brown to white while cooking injera. Real pure teff doesn't do that. Called the owner to return it and he said he would 'investigate' and call me back. He never called back and now won't answer the phone and is ignoring my texts. Stay FAR FAR from these dishonest merchants of garbage that they are pretending...
