I come here AT LEAST twice a week. I love the all-star, I get it every time. Literally. I see they are attempting to turn it around. They even tried renovations. But I didn't see what was fixed up. Seats the same, tables same, dishware same. Maybe something in the kitchen. Way in the back. Nothing changed. makes sense to me. I've worked in kitchens.š¤š¤ How about investing in a new grill upon walking in, it just be needing love. All these things are great, Here is my outside looking in, perspective. Well since I'm the allot.
The food is definitely good. Training should be a practice tho. The food shouldn't have a drastic difference in taste depending on who's on the grill. A pyramid dynamic is definitely needed. Being friends is cool, but are we at work or on the block? This is food service!! Put the phones down. No Touching the hair, the fact is why No hair nets. It's like um who cares. Standing around holding phones is just wayy counter productive. The manager was there alsoš¤¦š¾āāļø. There's no way we have unclean tables while employees are on their phones. Laptops doing homework. (More than once). I can say The designated cook and cashier doing everything. Every time I've been there, different days, times, and shifts. You must direct the young and encourage them. This might be their first real gig. Help them!!! Become and at least look productive. Go bust a table, wipe down, do dishes, go prep, etc etc. My major pet peave, gloves and washing hands. Cook, you touch your hat change them. You touch your drinking cup which shouldn't be visible, change the gloves. You go in the back of the house, take off the darn apron and glovesš¤®š¤®š¤®. Also after the renovations, it seems you all forgot to actually dust the blinds and wipe off them high bulbs. It's dark in there. The ambience is dull and silent. Play the music. I don't think many ppl think it work. It's always silent. Imagine a restaurant seat next to the kitchen. While eating, the background noise is just dishes and profanity. I enjoy my time here mostly cuz it brings me back when I lived in ATL. So I definitely wanna see this establishment get...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAlternative reality? I had lunch there a month ago or so, and it was fantastic. Even though the restaurant was full, the service was excellent, my food was out in about 7 minutes and it was great. I was craving those delicious bacon and hash browns again, so I decided to go back last Saturday evening (7/27). Well, it was like opposite day. The place was empty, only two other tables, and one table was just finishing up. We immediately sat down at a table and were given menus by a waitress that must been having a really bad day or really hated her job (or both). She returned shortly and took our order. Other than not feeling welcomed, everything was OK at this point. We each started by ordering coffee with extra creamers with a glass of water. Coffee came out fairly fast but with no creamers and no water. We figured she would be back with it shortly. Nope. We all ordered the basically the same thing, bacon, eggs and hash browns, plus two waffles. 5-10 mins go by and she brings out the two waffles. We asked her again for cream and our water. A few mins later, she brings out our bacon (which was close to burnt), and nothing else. We asked again for creamer and water. About 5 mins later, we flag down another waitress that happened to be looking our way. She came over and we asked her for some cream, she immediately brought some to our table. A few minutes later our original waitress brings out our eggs and close to burnt hash browns. The eggs and waffles were the only thin prepared properly. We asked her again for our water and finally got them at the end of our meal. How can two visits can be so different, I will never know. I plan to give them another visit during lunch time just to see if that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMight be the worst place I've ever eaten at. The first thing I noticed was that the outside was extremely unkempt and the building looked dirty and grimy, and it only got worse when we went inside. The lighting is depressing and the dining room is so bad that Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs would probably have a hard time keeping food down. The tables were filthy, the booths and chairs where sticky, the menus made me wish I had a hazmat suit and gloves on, and the bathrooms were soo gross that I'd rather go to the nearest gas station or Walmart and use the rest room there. Just when I didn't think it could get much worse the food arrived... If you've ever eaten somewhere, gotten your food and then been soo disgusted by it that you couldn't bring yourself to put it in your mouth, then you and I are on the same page. I ordered waffles and they were runny and chunky and smelled pretty bad, on top of that the hasbrowns were barely cooked and were so bland that all the salt and pepper in the world couldn't have made them taste better. This was made even worse by the fact that our server obviously had MAJOR hygiene issues including smelling as if they'd waited a little too long to use the restroom or as if they didn't bathe. His hands and fingernails were DISGUSTING, and I noticed that he kept sticking his pinky finger in his ear then wiped it on his apron. Yes I realize that everyone has issues, but if you're going to be serving food, you NEED to be clean; period!!! Over all the place scared the crap out of me, and if worst were to come to worst, I think I'd rather starve to death than eat anything from that restaurant. Absolutely terrible!!! Avoid this place at...
