Went on Thursday thinking it wouldn't be very busy but that wasn't the case. It was about 6:30p after having stopped at HEB. Upon arrival, someone wrote something on a post it note and told me to go pick my colors. I requested a shellac pedicure and an acrylic fill with shellac paint. Same color for feet and hands. Am going on a trip to Jamaica this coming week and had a birthday party Friday and another event Saturday so wanted my nails to be done. Since I had not visited this salon before, thought doing just a solid color, no art or anything fancy would be a simple ask. I picked a hot pink and chrome holographic color to go over the top. I wear chrome all the time so didn't think this was any big ask. Even though I came in ahead of other parties, others were taken back faster while I felt rather ignored until I went and stood at the very front and they seemed to remember I had come in. I was finally taken back and seated in a pedicure chair. It was busy so I was pleased that they were able to get started relatively quickly. I'd say they started about 10 til 7p. I told them when I came in I needed both a fill and pedicure. I guess because they were so busy they didn't have anyone to work on my nails during the pedicure. They had several choices but based on the descriptions they all sounded about the same with the biggest difference being the amount of time they massaged your legs. Being that it was so late I went with the mid priced pedicure. I was a little surprised at how expensive it was but figured with it being a new place, everything is just going to be priced higher even though they advertised grand opening "specials". The pedicure itself was fine, they did have adult beverages and all in all that part of the experience was fine. I really loved the color I had picked. When she finished they told me to wait until they could get to my nails. It has already been a bit since they finished was already 7:45 at this point. Again after feeling ignored and seeing more and more people leave, I had to ask again if they could get started on my nails after sitting there another 15 minutes. It's well after 8p at this point and I was so aggravated I really should've just left at that point but since I had a busy day the next day knew I wouldn't have time to go somewhere else. The lady doing my nails did fine on shaping them and the fill itself but why they didn't do the same color I still do not know and I didn't realize it until she was nearly done. The woman who did my pedicure brought the same base pink color but I guess she brought a different top coat because it definitely is just a straight chrome finish and not the same as what is on my toes with a more holographic orange tone. Ordinarily I would've had them fix them right away but by this point it was 9pm and I was tired and just ready to be done. I paid and left a decent tip for the pedicure service but will not be going back anytime soon. The total with tip was $193 which for a fill, pedicure and shellac color seems excessive but again I won't be back. Disappointing. Edit. Let me change this to a one star review based on the response. I thought maybe I was wrong and went and checked my own cameras and texts. Time stamps definitely align with what I said. When I told them I wanted shellac they told me to pick any color from the side of the wall opposite the door, stated those were all shellac. That's what I did. The colors on my toes and hands are NOT the same. The base pink appears the same; the chrome topcoat isn't. Argue with ya mama. I pretty much never give poor reviews but this experience was really upsetting given that I had literally one free evening before my events and trip to get this done. It's funny you want to argue about times and say the pedicure I selected is supposed to last 45 minutes but took an hour and a half. I guarantee you're not paying your techs to take 2x as long on services. I pulled my own security footage which corroborates the times I gave so as I stated this service and establishment is DISAPPOINTING. Don't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe place was nice I will say that but wait was a little long. And normally nail shops sit your feet I the warm water why you wait but they did not. I hated my nails had to ask the lady to fix them like 4 times, finally I just said screw it donāt worry about it. I gone feel like I hated trying this place out I wish I would have just went to my normal place by the heb in pearland. They are small but pay attention to detail and value doing a great job. The only thing I like about this place is Jackie did do a great job on my pedicure with shellac shout out to Jackie. Eyebrows are horrible I hate them. So uneven and one is bigger than the other. I finally had to tell the lady just leave them how they are I will go somewhere else to try to fix those. THIS IS MY OPINION, Try it out for yourself. But the work should have been wayyyyyy better for pricing. And to think after the %20 is gone away after this week I would have had to pay like $170 plus for this but it was like $130 after discountā¦ā¦.UPDATE. Yesterday I received a call from Milano nakls (Henry) stating they wanted to make this right and apologized for the work that was done. They set my appt for today at 11am. I arrived at around 10:52. They placed me with Mrs Camie, please correct me if thatās not her name. She was very polite and personable. The store manager Ron and Henry both checked on me to make sure things were going great. Camie also let me know that once my brows grow back in about three weeks she said she would do amazing with them. She said she saw they were very uneven so she did not want to try to even them out because did not want to mess them up any more. So I appreciated her honesty versus saying she could fix them but they were not fixable. I was refunded for my brows $12. When my husband picked me up he stated that it doesnāt even look like I went to the same salon. He said my nails looked gorgeous and so different from yesterday. Thank you Milano nails for making this right...

My husband and I arrived just before closing on a Friday night, running late due to first-time babysitter jitters. Instead of turning us away (which would have been completely understandable), the staff welcomed us warmly and provided the same exceptional service theyād give any customer. This level of accommodation and grace speaks volumes about their character. They have skilled technicians who really care. Mimi and Michelle delivered phenomenal results, combining technical expertise with genuine warmth. Their attention to detail and professional approach made the entire experience relaxing and enjoyable, even under the time pressure of a late arrival. Milano Nail Spa has created something rare ā a business that balances efficiency with exceptional quality and genuine customer care.
