When I pulled into the drive thru, I didn't receive a greeting. Normally I would be greeted by the drive-thru cashier first thing as I pulled into the speaker, not this time. This was a first for me.
When I got their attention after 30 seconds, I was about to make my order. I started by ordering the Jack Munchies Meal with the Spicy Nacho Chicken sandwich. I said "Spicy Nacho Chicken Munchies Meal". No response. At first, I thought she didn't understand me. But she didn't ask me to repeat myself. It was silence for 15 seconds. I replied "Hello?" She replied back.
Second time, I rearranged my wording. I said "Jack's Munchies Meal with the Spicy Nacho Chicken sandwich." Nothing again. Another 15 seconds before I said "Hello?" again.
She responds by giving me the wrong sandwich. She thought I said "Curly Fry Burger" I had to tell her slowly "Spicy Nacho Chicken sandwich"
I wanted to see if I can sub the halfsies fries for another side. I asked if I could sub with stuffed Jalapenos. She said "No" Bc she was vague with her answer, I had to ask if I could substitute it with anything. She confirmed "No, you can't substitute it with anything." Time could've been saved if she told me the halfsies fries cannot be substituted the first time I asked.
I decided to order the Ultimate Cheeseburger and 3 pc Stuffed Jalapenos. She almost gave me 3 Egg Rolls. I tried to correct her, but she talked over me as she realized her mistake and fixed her order.
I drive to the window and the lady asks if I want any sauces. When I asked for the sauces, she could only remember 4 sauces. So I said "Barbeque and Honey Mustard" twice for her to hear me. I was wearing my mask. Once I paid and got my drink, she told me to wait in the front for my order. It was a big order so I understood.
I waited in the front for 5 minutes before I was gonna get my food. This Black lady comes out and almost misses me. I call for her attention, and then she pulls the food away from me as she walked towards me. I was the only car parked in the very front of the restaurant. Apparently, no one told her the color car I was in to inform her on where to take the order to. Instead of verifying if I ordered the right food, she had me tell her what I ordered. She then gave me my food.
First, she gave me the Munchies Meal, and she handed it to me in a careless manner that I almost dropped my food. Then she gave me the bag with the burger and jalapenos. I told her to stay so I can verify the food matches my order, but then she runs off saying "I gotta take care of another customer." Very inconsiderate. She didn't even let me get the chance to tell her that my sauces were wrong, as I got Sweet & Sour instead of Honey Mustard.
Poor customer service. They getting 2 stars instead of 1 star bc the food...
Read moreI placed in order in drive thru and received the wrong order. I ordered 2 # 14s and a # 7, all three with curly fries. They gave me a chicken sandwich and a fish sandwich, three curly fries and the 2 10 pieces. When I alerted them that I received the wrong order, the two ladies copped an attitude. When I could see they were both aggravated, I tried to calm them both down as I explained the issue . Still laced with attitude. I even asked them to calm down yet still attitude. Then the cook came to the window to see who I was. I spoke to him then went back to explaining the concern. I did not want the next car to get angry with them receiving the wrong order. They finally took the sandwiches back and brought my ultimate cheeseburger. I again tried to convey empathy because I grew up in the fast food industry and told them it was okay. The lady said " have a nice day ma'am...." I'm a Male, no question. So I clarified, " did you call me ma'am or man?" Neither is acceptable, yet I tried to give her a chance to turn the comment around. More attitude. It was pointless at that point . Still I offered them a bit of empathy because as a black Male, I receive disrespect all day. As I pulled off, she said have a nice day ma'am Again. If I did not have my son and daughter in the car, I would have returned the Same if not worse treatment to this young lady, but what's the use? She felt like she won an argument which I wasn't even having. Needless to say, she will get her treatment one day. Drive thru is not for her. Signed, former customer. I'll never patronize that establishment again. By the way, my burger was cold and my fries...
Read moreThis Jack-in-the-Box never fails to make me late. Every single time I have come here my order has either been messed up ,not cooked or it took way a breakfast fairly small. I am on a lunch break right now and I have sat in the drive-through for about 30 minutes just to get to the drive-through answering machine For it to say system updating. So I pull around to just order at the front and I’m sitting another 20 minutes Before I can even get to the window. The line is wrapped around the building and their time management is unacceptable. I get to the window and I explained to them that their system was down and I couldn’t hear anybody on the answering machine. The lady proceeded to catch an attitude and say what would you like to order all I wanted was one small sandwich and then she asked me if I could go ahead and pull around to the front and I said no, Because I have already stayed in line for about 45 minutes. She said it would just be right out and it would only take two seconds. Then I’ve told her if it would only take two minutes why can’t I just wait here for my food if it’s gonna come out that quickly and run the chance of me, pulling around to the front and then forgetting that I’m even up there. she then copped an attitude again, and started mumbling something under her breath to her coworker. I do not know anyone’s names. But what I do know is, I have never had a happy experience at this Jack-in-the-Box. Do not go here unless you want to sit in the drive-through for an hour or have your...
