1 STAR: This is for the fish part of the store. The boys are so reluctant to truly clean the fish even though this is a service they offer! The fishes are also not always fresh. The boys need to learn better customer service. The store: adequately clean. Great selection of frozen meat (lamb, goatmeat), great selection of Indian spices that are yummy and super spicy. Their plantains are not consistently fresh, but when they are, they are very, very fresh and healthy looking. Read moreWe always love our Marina markets but this time was less than pleasant, we came in at 7:10 (their hours say they close at 8) and greeted the cashier warmly, and he responded rudely, “we’re closing soon” which we thought was strange but hurried nonetheless and found that they had blocked off half the isles putting things away so we would feel pressured to leave and we left after five minutes in the store. They started putting all the fruit stands in so we had no choice but to leave. The yellow onions have been around 39 to 49 cents a pound for a long time. Try finding that kind of price at Safeway, Lucky, etc.
