Bottom line: 90 minutes for $90, but you get what you pay for.

I gave 3 stars and not less because maybe it just wasn’t for me. The massage was aggressive and choppy - not really relaxing. I asked for deep tissue (which I’ve had many times before) and it felt more like I was being beat up (at times there was actual hitting lol). I’m not sure the person was actually trained as a masseuse because nothing really flowed for lack of a better description, and I’m not sure she could tell the difference between knots and just my muscles and tendons. She also did this thing where she’d run her hands up my hair and end with pushing her knuckles into the top of my skull - which was painful.

Something to know before coming here: it’s not like any massage place I’ve been to before where they have you fill out a questionnaire or sign anything. So if you have prior injuries or limited mobility, I recommend letting them know before hand. They did do some stretches with the shoulders and legs so if that causes you pain, make sure you’re vocal to avoid further injury. Also, there are no doors on the rooms, just a curtain. Oh and I’m pretty sure my butt was exposed for at least 70 minutes of the 90. Purity Foot Massage in Marina, CA is absolutely WONDERFUL! I treated myself to an hour massage for $60...30 minutes upper body and 30 minutes feet and legs. Their next to Daddy's Diner so after if you're hungry stop by there to grab a bite to eat. The Purity Massage is very clean and I like that they have security cameras you can see in front. They have men and women masseuse and everyone makes you feel comfortable and safe. Music is soothing, heated massage beds, linens clean and the air is filled with light pleasant Aromatherapy. They have several rooms with curtains for privacy, each has two massage tables. This was a nice feature since the one I usually go to at the Salinas Mall the massage tables are all in the open and there's not much privacy. The massage was good However, throughout the one hour massage, people would walk in the front door, and no one was at the reception, they kept telling "hello, anyone here". Then people yelling in Chinese in the hallway. And ok, I can overlook these things, but when I went to pay, at the end of the massage, it was $60. I gave the lady who massaged me $100, and told her to keep $10 for tip. She was like "only $10? I'm hurting", etc. Like really? I'm giving you a 17% tip, and you're complaining? That's extremely rude, especially because I was really nice with her, I was at the end of a relaxing massage, I was in a good mood, then she had to completely ruin the experience. Made me feel so bad and confused, that's very unusual. Someone should let their employees know that when they receive a decent tip, they should just say thank you, and move on, not haggle over a bigger tip.
