I loved playing volleyball but I feel like it might be the last time I go there. Me and my friends were Sharing the court with some other people and it was one of the first time me and my friends go out to play volleyball. We’re not very good at playing so we keep accidentally getting the ball rolled into the other side of the court where other people are playing. Just walking in for the first time a gentleman yelled at us “GET OFF MY COURT!”. They didn’t even start the game yet and we weren’t even on the court, we were off near the curtains. Me and my friends thought nothing off it. After a few minutes my friend accidentally roll the ball to the other side of the court like I said, and a woman rolled back to us and we apologized. If you minutes pass by and we do it again accidentally rolling the ball there, The same man yells at us saying we are ruining their game and we again apologize. After a few minutes we keep actually rolling the ball (keep in mine we’re 12-13 year olds and he’s like 35-40). The man continued being rude and screaming at us so my finally got the employee to ask them to change court so we would stop bothering them. The employee comes in and the first a lady says is “ we’re only complaining because they’re ruining our game and we’re scared of getting hurt with the ball flying in our faces” never once did the ball fall from the air and hit the floor, Just casually rolling. The lady explains that we need to stop making the ball hit them and that there are a regular customer that comes about every week to play volleyball” Now me and my friend start to look each other knowing that this lady is going to take their side because she’s getting paid, because they come there every day/about every week. So me my friends how to stop playing because we didn’t want to get kicked out just in case one of those rude Man or lady yells at us and get the employee. The lady straight up said “ we don’t want any hospital bills” I cannot tell you how many times there a ball rolled AND almost hit one of us with no consequences. Sorry but I do not like my experience there and I don’t think I’m coming back...
Read moreIf I could give this zero stars, I would. The flag football program has been a disaster from the start—constantly changing schedules, changing our league placement mid season, and employing referees who swear at kids, discuss their hangovers, and call our children losers. This is absolutely unacceptable. I would never trust these so-called “professionals” around my kids again.
Do better. Vet your people. When concerns were brought to the front desk, the only response was, “It’s an outside company, we’ll let them know.” That is not good enough. Our team deserves a formal apology for the treatment we have dealt with at Forekicks.
The fact that they responded to an obviously fake good review of their program speaks volumes. As a parent, I’ve never even spoken to a ref or the other team. And actually, a parent from the opposing team got aggressive after the game towards the refs, but we won’t address that I guess? To say we are examples of what’s wrong is ridiculous. Your ref was disgusting, we complained and your management took zero responsibility for the actions of their staff, contracted or not you are responsible for their behavior. You all are disgusting and should be ashamed...
Read moreI worked here as a coach for basketball and soccer. The soccer classes were great for kids of all ages with skill based learning. They paid a fair wage and had a great work environment.
I also helped host sport/activity themed birthday parties, which was fun as well.
I also played basketball during pick-up nights, which was fun and was able to organize a pick-up night for my grad school when I still lived in the area.
The leagues are pretty fun. I used to coach for my my friends who played in the mens basketball league. Still wish they started a coed league.
Their weight room is also pretty nice. Small, but it has all the equipment you need.
The management there is great! Attentive and fair.
During the week they also had blow up structures that could also be incorporated...
