I will warn you ahead of time, I am about to grill this place at 110%.
This was disappointing enough that I almost think they paid for their reviews. But who is to say.
The atmosphere of the restaurant were really good, as well as the reviews. We were excited to try it as it seemed like a reputable and well established joint.
We were sat immediately which I thought was a good sign, that they had tables and an appropriate amount of wait staff. I liked seeing the open kitchen from our table as well.
The waitress took longer than expected to greet us which was OK, as she seemed busy. We got drink orders in and had them within a proper amount of time. There were actually two waitresses (not sure why) and they both dropped the ball together.
The food came out and it was probably one of the most mediocre reuben sandwiches I've ever had. Not enough meat, the bread was toasted to the point of being too dry, and there was not enough spread on the sandwich. My husband had the equivalent of a Philly cheese steak on their menu (I think it was just called a steak and cheese sandwich). He took a few bites but put it down. He said that a chain fast food cheese steak restaurant back home (where we are NOT known for cheese steaks) was much better than this and we paid like $20 for it.
The waitress messed up my fries and forgot my side. I ordered sweet potatoes and got normal French fries. I was halfway through my meal by the time she came to check on me and see that the fries were wrong. She also forgot to put in a side that I had ordered (brussel sprouts - which were soggy/overcooked). She was not attentive at all to our drinks. My husband had to take my water to drink to finish his food as she did not refill his drink.
Overall, we were very disappointed and would not recommend this to anybody. I hope the average experience for people here is much better...
Read moreA Truly Exceptional Dining Experience for Food Allergy Families: Today we unexpectedly found ourselves needing a place to eat, which is always a challenge as parents of a young child with multiple severe, life-threatening food allergies. Usually, this means grabbing safe snacks elsewhere (we stopped at Hannaford across the street) and watching him sit through meals unable to join us, which is heartbreaking.
When we walked into 110 Grill in Marlborough, we were greeted by Sharon, the General Manager, and everything changed. After explaining our situation, she immediately reassured us that 110 Grill takes food allergies very seriously and prides itself on inclusivity. Her confidence and warmth were both calming and reassuring — something we rarely experience when dining out.
Sharon walked us through their food allergy protocols and showed us the allergy binder, which clearly outlined ingredients and cross-contamination precautions. For the first time ever, we felt safe enough to let our child order a meal. That is no small thing.
Our server, Parker, was also phenomenal — kind, attentive, and genuinely understanding. He made sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. To top it off, the kitchen manager personally came to our table to double-check an ingredient and confirm everything was safe.
Thanks to this team, our son was not only included — he was thrilled. He looked up at us and said, “This is the best day ever.”
To any fellow food allergy families: our son’s allergens include dairy, egg, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, and mustard. 110 Grill handled each one with professionalism, care, and compassion.
Thank you, 110 Grill Marlborough, for turning what could’ve been a sad meal into a truly special Father’s Day memory. We’ll...

I came in on a recent Friday night for dinner and ended up leaving disappointed and hungry as a result of poor treatment from one of the bartenders on staff that night.
I sat at the bar where I waited nearly 15 minutes to be greeted by a bartender. I was finally acknowledged with a tilted head by the bartender who I guess didn’t deem me worth a formal greeting. He did not introduce himself, he did not ask if I'd like a drink and/or a menu. I found his demeanor odd, but thought maybe he was having a rough night and his service would improve with a little time. I said hello and asked for a food menu as I intended to have dinner at the bar. He grabbed the menu and placed it in front of me. I was not offered water or a drink. However, he did provide me with a placemat and silverware.
About 5 minutes later, a younger gentleman came over to ask if I’d been helped and if I needed anything. I asked for water and ordered a salad. The salad was delicious. However, the bartender never asked how the salad was or if I was ready to order a drink or an entrée.
I watched as the bartender greeted and served other guests seated at the bar while he consciously skipped and overlooked me for the next 13 minutes. The younger gentleman came by once more and asked if everything was alright, but at this point, I’d had enough and told him I was all set. I paid for my food and left.
The treatment I received was rude, hurtful, and totally unacceptable. I wrote an email to the restaurant and they never responded. I guess the restaurant management is just as rude as this...
