2 miles from Silver Spring via a pleasant walk through Woodley Park. It is evident that many homeowner participate in native biodiversity and feeding native pollinators, and once in the creek it is fortunately very easy to traverse and explore, even as a disabled person. However- the people are not friendly. I had a full tonic clonic seizure just off of the trail and several people passed my body before it passed. I had to walk back through the park and ended up collapsing in someone's driveway in another seizure before EMTs were called. I have Epilepsy, but I have brown skin, so I assume the white people on the trail who lived in the neighborhood, assumed I was ODing- still exceedingly evil to prioritize your steps over another human life. Very nice place in summers. Lush green cover, big trees, great walking trails. Just by side of road, plenty of parking places at short distances. Lot of BBQ places. Walking on trails in summer with cool breeze is the best part. It looks like forest cover with a creek flowing in the middle, amazing experience. Winters may be bit boring.
