I want to say first they do great work, I have loved my fingernail designs by Elena, but getting a pedicure was where I went wrong. Excited for the Easter Holiday, I was so excited to get my nails done and my toes to match. We used the same gel color. I left out of town the next day the color peeled apart, I couldn't wear my toes out. I called Elena, who had done my service, and shared with her what happened and how upset I was, she made me feel that they would accommodate my needs and mentioned several options, but there was nothing we could do at the moment because I was out of town, so she ultimately ended saying Leelee the Owner will get back to me on the appropriate way to handle the discount. I returned immediately to LeeLeās to have the gel repainted on my toes, I was not charged, and Elena reminded me LeeLee will get back with me on the discount. But polished peeled again AH-gain. I just didn't have time to run back and forth to the nail salon with work, I just could not prioritize an immediate second visit with my schedule. So I decided to make an appointment and remind Elena of the issue, and I did. I called Elena and told her the pedicure was ruined again, she mentioned a 15% discount that I didn't believe was quite fair with my ordeal, and i reminded her that what she offered when I was out of town seemed more fair (a full refund, 50% discount, whatever was needed). She said we will talk about it with me when arrive as Leele is here. Leele addressed me when I arrived, and asked me could someone else do my nail? I was confused I made an appointment with Elena, I showed her again the issue on my pedicure, not with my naiks. She asked if I could come tomorrow or another time to get my nails done. I said, well no, i came for my appointment and had traveled by uber. If I had to leave I would need to be reimbursed for my travel. Leelee convinced me she will do my nails, if someone could do my feet. I agreed.
To spare anymore detail, what bothered me the most, is that they Elena, never considered if the polish was faulty and never analyzed the situation, and blamed me.
Elena said to me she didn't feel comfortable doing my nails, and made it my fault because of the situation, though my complaint was never about my fingernails. I was embarrassed, and I could tell the owner was trying to smooth it over, but it was shocking in the moment.
It is disappointing that service is going in this direction, where the owner is in jeopardy for loosing their business due to staff biases, and personal feelings instead of professionalism, and the customerās feedback is a negative feedback rather than taken into consideration, is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām new to the area & have been looking for a nail place for a few months. I was excited when I found LeeLeās right up the street. This was my second appointment at LeeLe Nail Salon. My first visit was with Elena - gel pedicure & gel x manicure. Elena was good but one of my nails broke same day. I went back the next day & she fixed it. She had me in & out very quickly so I decided to give the salon another chance 2 weeks later. I made my second appointment for a gel pedicure w/ Ivy (she was the only tech available for the time slot I needed - now I know why) and a gel X manicure with Anh (who I never saw). Upon arrival, I was told to wait 15 minutes despite having an appointment & arriving on time. Not a huge deal, appointments run late sometimes. I asked for the same color I already had on my nails & received a random translucent nude color instead. It took Ivey 2 whole hours to complete a classic gel pedicure, while my boyfriend received a luxury spa pedicure & was done long before me. My toes were not done neatly and I hated the color. Next, Ivy soaked off my nails & then asked me to wait another 15 or so minutes for the person who was scheduled to do my nails. After a while, I was directed to a second person (maybe Danny - he didnāt have a name tag on so Iām guessing) who began my manicure. It was the absolute worst application of nails Iāve ever seen. Thereās gel/glue everywhere under my nails. When I asked if he could clean them up, he said the glue would wash off when I wash my hands. I showed him the design I wanted for my nails, to which he said he could do. After shaping 1 & 1/2 nails, he got a phone call & said he had to leave due to an emergency. I then waited for another 10-15 minutes until Stephanie appeared. Stephanie was by far the only redeeming quality of my experience. I told her to just do a solid nude color cuz I was ready to leave at that point. She shaped my nails beautifully & painted my nails w/ care and neatness. I even tipped her before leaving. Fast forward to 3 days later, my nails started lifting & the excess glue is still underneath my nails. I have never had a set of nails last less than a week - whether acrylic, gel x, regular gel, or dip powder. Iām pissed that I wasted money on this place. I wonāt be returning. Overall the place is clean & the staff is ok. The booking and arrival experience is very confusing. Booking with a specific tech doesnāt guarantee thatās who you will see. They always seem confused when people arrive as if they arenāt expecting any appointments, though I noticed the regulars kinda just walk in with no issue....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was my first time coming here and I am so disappointed. I booked online, (because I thought it would be the best thing to do) and the booking said to arrive 15 minutes before. I arrived on time, and when I checked in I was told they didnāt see my appointmentā¦I was confused, because I literally got a confirmation email AND a confirmation text. I had to show them both for them to actually believe me, which was weird. Thatās the first red flag. 2nd red flag, my appt was for 11am. I didnāt get serviced until 11:45am. They kept telling me ā15 more minutesā and I kept saying āokayā but in my mind I said to myself I would never come here again, and I wonāt tip because this isnāt itā¦like AT ALL! While doing my nails she kept hurting me and I vocalized it but it was like my pain was falling on deaf ears. She seemed like she was in a rush to get finished. So again, I said Iām definitely not tipping after this. Now the 3rd red flag. At the counter while paying for my nails, I paid the $80 that the receipt had on it, but I made the mistake of not crossing out the ātipā area, so all I did was sign my name and leave it blank. Idk why but something told me to leave that area blank to see if these people are honest with their charges. And guess what? Looking at my credit card statement for August, I was charged an extra $10 dollars as tipā¦.so basically I was charged $90 and yet I had only signed for $80. And get this, they didnāt even give me a receipt, after me signing and her realizing I never tipped, she took the receipt and walked off to service another person. So I was just standing there like WTH? I walked off too because I was late for another appt, but tbh I would never go back here again. Thatās thieving behavior and I recommend that everyone pays attention to their bank statements and if youāre tipping or not tipping, make it clear and make sure you get your receipt! I donāt write reviews, but this definitely had to be said!! I just think that they should do away with their online booking service because they donāt even follow it at allā¦Iām a very tolerable person, like I will wait if I have toā¦.but being told to wait for 15 minutes and then being serviced ALMOST an hour later is just ridiculousā¦you couldāve told me it would take more than that and I probably wouldāve taken a walk outside to pass timeā¦and then just ignoring my pain, then forcing a tip out of me for service that I didnāt even like?...
