Family Dollar Distribution Center — Attraction in Matthews

On May 6 I went into this family Dollar to help out a homeless guy. I was going in to purchase Tylenol as I walked in the store someone was walking out and the bag peeped. at this point I hear the Store manager(& I know she is the store manager because I always shop here. Tracy the store manager starts yelling at the cashier a little white kid going on and on about how you need to do your job, you should've came from around the corner I do not care what you doing, and so many more disrespectful things. Now at this point I'm standing and line with about 4 other people and I'm the last person. Everyone is looking at each other with straight shock as though why she's talking to this kid in such manner. As I get to the front of the line this kids face shows nothing less than embarrassment, hurt, and total shame!!! So I asked him how is your day and replied ok I stated no one might didn't tell you this but listen you did not deserve that and I am sorry he said thanks and I'm ok. I left and as I'm heading home my spirit couldn't take it I turned back around and went back to the store now at this point I have picked up my child and returned to the store to have a conversation with this manager. When I got to the store I asked the cashier to please call his manager over but instead we went over to her where she was having a interview(Also she was in the middle of this same interview when she cause all the disturbance earlier). So I said hello I was here earlier and I watch you belittle that guy and hurt his feelings. She said well make a complaint I responded that I am but you need someone to look you in your face and tell you to humble yourself and even if work is stressful you should treat your staff with complete respect as the same you will want in return. She stated OH THEY GONE RESPECT ME REGARDLESS! I told her she has let a position carry her over and she doesn't have to treat anyone that way and that she made me cry after looking in that kids face because I am a mother and he did not deserve the way she treated him in a store full of customers. I came in this store to help someone in need and received one of the worst experience in my LIFE!! never have I ever cried for someone being disrespected the way I did for him. All she kept repeating is I be wanting ya'll to do reviews ion care just do a review(Exactly in her voice). I looked at her and told her someone people will never understand and looked at my child and told him to never lose your humbleness in act this way. I've seen Tracy rudely speak to multiple customers but I never interfere because it never went this far the customers would just walk away. This was so unacceptable under no circumstances should anyone be disrespect like that....

HARRASSMENT LIFE-THREATENING PHONE CALL FROM ANGRRY DISGUNTLED FIRED EMPLOYEE DUE TO COMPLAINT LETTER On Saturday July 6th I received a phone call threatening me harm and may life from a disgruntled employee at Store # 12310 36 Spencerport Road, Rochester, NY 14606-5206 in retaliation and retribution for mailing a letter of complaint concerning his extreme rudeness to me one month before ,that I sent to the store manager and your corporate and CEO one month before. ( see attached copy of original letter) On this day the manager ( supposedly) called to ask me about it ( put it on speaker phone so my wife and I could monitor the conversation )and he called the person into his office and the kid confirmed what I said. The manager then fired him on the spot, the kid screamed at him , begged for his job and then pulled out a gun and SHOT HIM. I heard silence then a slump on the floor He then got on the phone and screamed at me calling me racially Mother-F words and said come on down there and he'd do the same to me, I screamed "what did you do?", then said I was calling 911 and have the police down there right away. I hung up. 2 Minutes later the manager said NOT to call the Police that the bullet only grazed him and he was hiding under his desk, but he was going to his locker to get his AK-47 and Kill Jerome. Then I hear machine gun fire !!!! [ I know this sounds unbelievable but its TRUE, my wife heard it}. It was at that point I realized I was the victim of a well planned., rehearsed prank phone call complete with sound effects in retaliation of sending out these letters- which I have copies on my computer. I called this supposed [manager] back and said do think that was funny, that is a legal form of harassment that I can and will take legal and criminal action against you and Family Dollar for!!!. I wouldn't let him get in a word I was so angry. I slammed the phone down and immediately called our Monroe County Sherriff Dept., Two deputies came over and took the lengthy report and was going to visit that store, ( store 12310) and kept a copy of my complaint letter and investigate and get back to me. I am still SO ANGRY and upset that two employees, (hopefully former), would represent Family Dollar would who would have our phone number and address to harass, scare and cause such mental distress to both my wife and I.I am sending this all over Facebook, The Web, and Yelp telling the World about this bizarre encounter. Ok was at the Family dollar store on 1st ave. in cedar rapids iowa I am disabled and recently had knee surgery went to this store and was shopping and had to use a rest room the cashier said our restroom is for employees only because there was to much stuff that went on in there. She said I should walk to the gas station and use theirs. I called that gas station and I don't think they are happy with having to have family dollar store customers using their rest room not to mention when the employees are sending them over. I go to physical therepy 2x's a week my stitches are not even healed but yes its winter and I am suppose to walk across the parking lot across the street to a gas station WOW. Also there was a roach running across the chip isle the cashier was beyond rude she told me to not come back which I was not planning on it any way but she flipped me off check your survelince video she followed me out side where she was yelling insults and then a friend jumped in frankly I thought her friend was going to assault me. By the way she left her cash register and store unattended with one employee in the store by herself not good. She is a danger to your customers this happened on 12-20-2018. around 5-7pm. There was a big pile of dirt on the floor the floor was not clean so would probably explain the roaches. But how can a business not provide a rest room for customers? So you do not care that some people can not hold their bathroom needs as being a former CNA some have accidents so its ok to deny a rest room. She said the district manager said to close it to the public well if there are problems then that shows bad managers then it they are letting people in there that do bad things maybe its not the customers doing the bad things in there.
