Well, I hate leaving negative reviews but have to express concern over customer (lack of) service from a front end employee with the initials of ‘P.L.’ H.o.r.r.i.b.l.e. The most impersonable, don’t give a rip about who’s standing in front of you attitude, talking over you to someone else as if you’re not-even-there behavior, and lack of respect for the integrity of an original oil painting I’d just bought as P.L. absentmindedly crammed it sideways, unprotected several times into a plastic bag with two other sharp-edged framed art pieces while diverting attention to a phone call that came in just as my debit card swiped, a call which took deliberate priority as I stood there watching P.L. Log in to a PC to help that customer vs. finishing up with me. I’d probably still be standing there, likely with a ripped canvas, if it weren’t for the kind awareness of another young lady, whose ID I wish I had to recognize her for service excellence, she is the only redeeming factor for my experience at The Painted Tree today. Even after the kind young lady’s took the initiative to help, which she greatly did, I still had to interrupt P.L. more than once to get their attention to ask for a receipt but instead I was handed a strip of paper to sign for my debit swipe! Distracted, didn’t care, no verbal acknowledgment. Simply ridiculous. That one star on my rating goes to the other sweet young lady who had the empathic ability to see outside of herself to help another person, she went the extra mile. Don’t know what P.L.’s problem was but they could learn a lot from their coworker. God bless you both as well as that store who has its face represented by a don’t give a...

Read moreI love the individual booth and have shopped here quite a few times for small gifts or household items. However, don't make my recent mistake... if you are looking for a gift, be very aware of the refund policy. Only 2 days to return clothing, which may or may not fit the recipient, at Christmas time is not very practical. Yes, it's displayed in the store. But I have never stopped to find the refund policy before shopping. I spent 45 minutes searching for the perfect gift, found a shirt I think my recipient would have absolutely loved, and then had to start over somewhere else. I recommend skipping Painted Tree for clothing gifts if you aren't 100% sure of size or you aren't giving the present...
