I had the best experience with Bamboo Maui. I had gone to so many different flooring companies on island prior to Bamboo Maui. It took me months to find something I liked at these other places and it was always outside my budget. I considered getting floors online. My friend suggested Bamboo Maui after finishing her home. When I went to Bamboo Maui and talked to Michelle, she suggested a few samples after listening to my long spiel about what I was looking for. Michelle is so patient and really kind. She also knows her stuff (having grown up around it) and spends time to educate consumers on their stock. I ended up choosing Michelle's first suggestion, which was a beautiful engineered hardwood with thick top layer (which is still crazy to me considering I've seen so many samples at other places and Michelle got it on her first try). My installers were impressed with the quality and so was I (considering all the other samples I liked at other places had a paper thin top layer and were out of my price range). I was within my price range and super super super happy with the flooring. Michelle knew what would work in my home and considered my budget and what look I was shooting for. I never felt pressure or like I was taking up too much time. Later she called me to say she found stair noses that could work with my flooring. This was after she already took my order for custom stair noses which would have been more expensive. She went above and beyond and saved me a ton of money. Once the floors were put down, I felt at home and it's made a big impact on my day to day feelings of comfort. Maui Flooring and Decking/Bamboo Maui is the ONLY place you need to go if you are looking for hardwood, vinyl or bamboo flooring. We have purchased product here for multiple projects.

Their in-stock vinyl plank is excellent quality (and it comes in long wide planks!) and an amazing price. That was the first product we purchased back in 2022. It still looks new with active dogs and kids in the home.

They also carry closeout hardwoods (who doesn't love a deal!) and other in stock wood flooring which we are now installing. As well, they have a huge selection of hardwoods & vinyl plank that can be ordered (the current delivery time is 3 weeks) and there are no additional freight charges.

Whether you are updating the flooring in a rental condo, your first home or a second home in Makena, this is the place to go. They have flooring for every budget and application and will help you choose what is best for you. They want you to love your floors. What an amazing experience I had at Bamboo Maui from start to finish! Their showroom is beautifully organized and features stunning woodwork that highlights the quality of their craftsmanship. One of the things that truly sets them apart is their incredible selection of local Hawaiian wood materials. They are so knowledgeable about the different native species and the cultural significance they hold in Hawaii, which made the experience even more meaningful and special.
