I Go Maui Vacation Rentals — Hotel in Maui

First the bad- need some decent pots and pans. Would be nice to have a few extra towels. The sofa bed isn’t the most comfortable.

We only saw 3 whales in our 6 days. This isn’t in the control of the owners obviously but I like to know these things. However the weather could have been to blame (very windy)

Now the good. I go maui was very responsive and got us a topper for the couch making it comfy. Also we had a couple small issues like a clogged drain and had someone out the next morning to fix it.

The other beds were comfy. The kitchen had a decent amount of starting supplies. The ice maker worked well as did washer and dryer in unit. Coffee machine and toaster and microwave worked well.

The view is absolutely beautiful. For the price we felt very spoiled.

The grounds keeper does an amazing job cleaning up and cleaning the pool!!(someone should give him a kudos)

We had 6 adults in the unit and while it’s small, it was well set up for us overall. It was also very central located for easy access to all areas of the island. Costco 15 mins away. Lahaina 30 mins. Wailea 20 mins. 10 minute walk to Maalaea harbor where we did Alii Nui snorkel, sail Maui sunset cruise, and pacific whale (not our fav). 30 mins to Makena harbor where we did redline whale (yes!), after dark snorkel with zephyr, and kayak with whales (cancelled from wind).

We just came back after enjoying a 10 day vacation in Maui at a property hosted by I Go Maui. I am impressed by their 5-star customer service all the way. We worked with Amy and she was very responsive right from the first call to book the property. As soon as I booked the property, she set us up on their portal which all the details that I needed (codes etc). She texted us when the property was ready, left the AC and lights on and it was very welcoming walking into the apartment. The property was exactly as described in the photos and on their website and had all items we need for a beach vacation - cooler, beach towels, beach chairs and beach toys. To top it off, nice views of the ocean and steps to a Maa'laea beach. We were first timers to Maui and Amy gave us good suggestions regarding what to do in Maui. There were couple of minor issues during our stay and she immediately responded to them and got them corrected pronto. I have been doing vacation rentals for over 15 years now and this is my top most experience with a rental agency/owner. My family has been so excited to visit Hawaii for the first time ever since I booked last year in Sept. My daughter's mention the trip a few times each week. 13 and 16 year olds. They are so excited. Well, then this winter Covid 19 struck. We thought at first no problem, this should surely pass prior to our trip in July. My final payment was due May 16th. I did not know what to do I didn't want to pay and then our trip get canceled due to covid-19. However I was nervous if I didn't pay I wouldn't receive the refund because my time for payment had expired. I reached out to Amy at I go Maui and she's worked with me and has extended my payment until the end of June as right now June 30th is when the travel ban is in Hawaii. Even though we are very nervous we're not going to get to visit Maui this summer, I at least have the comfort of knowing we still May and if not I will still be refunded my money all the way up until the end of June.
