The park itself is quaint, quiet and clean. But if you’re here for pickleball please be warned - the nets are tennis nets (wrong height), there is no wind protection, and worst of all the surface is rough painted asphalt. It is uneven, has indentations and some areas are sloped more than others. I really appreciate that there was an effort made here, but do not expect a smooth playing area. Everything else was done right! There was a NextUp paddle system in place, fences between courts, and even bleachers for spectators. Read moreI think it’s awesome that these pickleball courts were built; HOWEVER, they were not properly finished. There needs to be a layer of acrylic paint applied, followed by a coat of sports master pickle master to fill in the grooves on the courts to help eliminate trip hazards. Put a push broom to clean the courts off and actual pickleball nets not tennis nets, they are different heights. It has a basketball court and tennis court on one side and 2 separate playground units. One for toddlers and such the other much bigger. Swings too. For babies and adults.
