McAllen Sports Park — Attraction in McAllen

11 million to build this place. Don’t think so, no bleachers for the soccer field, place is locked up like fort Knox . They lock all the gates so the only entrance is madness to get into during events and not enough parking. Why would they lock up a public park? Every citizen should be able to use the facilities. No food allowed during games and you are forced to feed the little ones junk food unless you sneak it in. This place could have been great. For 11 million you’d think some trees would have been planted in appropriate areas of the event. Kids should have filtered water accessible in many different areas. You can tell that the people designed this...

Went here for some soccer tournament. Bathrooms stink, bring your food and water, they have trash cans so that's good. They have plenty of trash cans, the layout is good and the park is attractive. Several parking lots easy to get too, but....one entrance. So pick the parking on the north side or you will be walking a very long way if you choose any other parking lot. Bad logistical planning and stinky restrooms. Target is really close by so...

Bummer this place is always locked up so the community cannot always enjoy the fields or the rink.

Maybe it’s a liability thing but sad to see families roll up to the fence then turn around.

For soccer leagues and roller hockey…works fine. Run into issues with the gates not being open.
