
I have a policy for a young son of mine for several years and decided to take out an additional policy on my wife. I sent in the application they kept sending me and soliciting additional policies about a week ago.The past couple of days I keep getting calls that are identified as globe life on my cell phone and every time I happen to receive one I was on a business call or with a family member and then I put them on hold or cancel the call and switch to the globe life call and no one is there. Extremely frustrating and time-consuming. So tonight I called the number on the voicemail and the gentleman I spoke to, spoke extremely fast with lots of noise in the background and I could barely understand him. I asked him to please slow down and speak a little bit clearer so I can understand all of his questions. Everything he asked me is what I already put on the application and signed to it. After verifying everything he starts asking a few personal questions about height and weight etc. But his accent was so heavy and he talks so fast and wouldnât slow down. Again I asked him to and he obviously got upset and said why donât you call back and speak to someone else and hung up on me. You know I thought about it with all of the solicitations I get from New York life and progressive life and a bunch of other companies, I decided not to do additional business with Globe life any longer.
I called back to cancel the application and again I had to verify everything and the woman wanted to know why I was canceling the application. I told her about the previous call and all of the other calls I got and I decided itâs just too frustrating and too time-consuming to continue doing business with Globe and I even thought about canceling the policy Iâve had for several years on my son. But I already had my mind made up to at least cancel the pending application which she confirmed that she did and said if anyone else called to ignore the call.
With all of the frustrations and problems in todayâs life why do I have to deal with this kind of business that makes taking my money extremely frustrating and time-consuming and obviously does not appreciate customers that support their jobs and business. As a current policyholder and someone that attempted to buy additional policies all of this completely wasted my time and caused aggravation not needed! There are so many name branded insurance companies out there and being a current customer of Globe, I cannot recommend this...
   Read moreI submitted an application for my grandson some years ago. I've spoken to Globe agents many times throught out those years. In calling them a few days ago, as always you're required to give their birthday. In calling recently, the date that I gave was incorrect, so from that I find out they have a different date. I'm told when I filed the application there was no BD. So who gave a BD that is not his , in their system, because I only have 1 grandchild. So if that's so, why have I been paying for a policy that has no BD. I was told they don't ask nor is required to have a BD when applying. In my 70 years, a policy cannot be issued without a BD. Now they're requiring me to submit his birth certificate to prove it. I wasn't told what date they have, nor any other information. I know his BD and wouldn't have given any other date. So how have I been able to handle any business , concerning this account. Now I'm pissed because if something, God forbid, had happened to him, this would've been a horrible situation to deal with. If this was true and they issued a policy, with no BD, and put a BD in themselves, that's a whole nother issue. None of this makes sense, because if I applied with no BD why wasn't I asked or notified that they needed a BD.? When enquiring about a policy, the first things you're asked is your name, the name of the person insured and their birthday, and other information to verify that you're the account holder. If I had many grandchildren, and gave a wrong date, then I would understand. But I only have 1, and had always told my son that, I was going to die with no grandkids as he got into his late 20's. So when he was 35, I was blessed with my 1 and grandchild, so why wouldn't I know the day he was born. Please check and recheck your information with Globe, and moreover what was on the application that you filed. If this has happened to me years after having continuing to pay for the insurance, it can happen to you. Please continue to check for years to come with any insurance company.. Unwanted junk mail offering to insure another grandchild comes at lest every few weeks on a continuum base's. Itâs nothing...

I had to called and speak with four professional in the cancellation department before finally getting all my five childrenâs policy canceled. Long story short; with those first 3 calls. One never stop the auto draft and or cancel the policy. Second called never stop the auto draft or cancel policy but one which was my new born. 3rd called never stop and was a total argument with the representative where she wouldnât listen to me that thereâs two signatures as owner which is both parents and she needed both our consent. So the called ended in a back and forth and total waste of times and she hung up because she thought she was right. 4th was right after 3rd call hung up. I called right back and explain the situation and demanded to speak with a manger and finally got everything taken care of. And yes two signatures can be on one policy and it âdoesâ requires two signatures to terminate the policy. I wasted about 30-45 minutes each call with crying kids around from new born to 3 years old. I especially got frustrated when 3rd caller said;âstop putting your kids in my ear!â Iâm like I got 3 kids from new born to 3 years old here and no one to help watch. It wasnât helping me cancel each policy but more so trying to get me to stay and purposely stalling my cancellation date so Globe can continue to auto draft my acct. With this being said; now I had to dispute and send proof of bank statements to try to get my refunded amount back from auto draft. Iâm following this process now but if need too and things get difficult I will have to call the bank for help in this process because nothing should had been withdrawn from my account effective May 5th 2025 but it continued to withdraw thru the 20th and hope no more withdrawal because I got two that are supposed to...
