I took my small dog (a cavachon) here for her first full groom. Based on the reviews I was feeling pretty sure that I would be happy with the cut. When I got there I told them that I just wanted a trim for her. She had longer hair that gave a cute puppy look. I told the groomer that I wanted to keep the puppy look and just clean the hair up a bit. We both agreed on the teddy bear and puppy look for the cut. I did mention that I didn't want a poodle cut. I was told that it would take about 2 hours. After 3 1/2 hours I called them to find out what was going on. I was told that they had some unruly dogs that caused things to get backed up and my dog would be finished just as they were closing, 4 hours after I dropped her off. They did give me a 15% discount for taking so long. My largest issue is when I went to pick her up. She has a cut somewhere between and poodle and a schnauzer. I barely recognized her. More than half of her fur was cut off and she no longer looks like a cute little puppy. Definitely not a puppy or teddy bear cut. I'm not sure if the groomer just forgot what I had said that I wanted because it took so long to get to my dogs groom, if she did a rush job because of the delay, or if she just didn't know what she was doing. Either way, the only response I got from her was, "Oh, is it too short? Well we can go longer next time". There won't be a next time here. I emailed management to express my dissatisfaction and have not heard...
Read moreI just took our 7 month old puppy who is 5 lbs. to be groomed today for our first visit. When I booked online, I thought I reserved a small dog groom. When I arrived they told me that I had actually booked a small dog bath and always have to call for a groom. That was disappointing, but they were all sweet about it and offered to trim up my puppy's beard anyhow (for an extra $20, kinda pricey, but she was due; $10 would seem more fair just for her beard..). Anyhow, my puppy was pretty nervous as she just had her spay 2 wks. ago and got the cone off 2 days ago, she hasn't been socializing much. When we walked in the store there was a large dog behind the wall (out of sight) that was incessantly barking. My puppy started to shake. I set her on the counter for a moment while trying to get her vest off and she did a small tinkle. She's NEVER done that and I was so embarrassed. Everyone was so nice and kept telling me to not worry about it. I insisted on cleaning it up, but they would not let me. They also gently grabbed my puppy and started holding and caressing her to make her more comfortable. They texted me 1 hour later and said she was all beautiful and ready for her pick-up. Sometimes you can wait for hours at other groomers! I really appreciated the warm welcome by all, accommodating my puppy's tinkle :o (so sorry) and the addtl. beard trim....
Read moreI recently came back per usual but unfortunately Gracie’s regular groomer was off until Wednesday and that was not a good day for me so i gave Daniella a chance to cut her hair and trim her nails. She did a horrible job. She cut her pretty much bald including her tail which has never been touched to where she looks like a rat! I knew something was wrong when my sweet lady that works at the desk asked me about a collar and she brought her out. I wanted to cry because i barely recognized her and to pay $76 dollars and tip her for what she did i could have shaved her bald! I asked for a cut it’s a huge difference. No disrespect but she should not be working there because she doesn’t know how to groom she even shaved almost all the way up to her head off and it’s uneven 🥹 I’m very disappointed and i loved it here. The girls up front are very sweet and i absolutely love Stacey she does an excellent job! They could have at least offered me back half of my money her collar no longer fits and nor will any collar. She no longer looks like Gracie I’m so heartbroken 💔 i am lost for words I’m not a groomer but i could have done a better job then her. I do not recommend anyone letting her cut your dogs hair! Huge difference between her and...
