Cafe Levantine — Restaurant in Virginia

Trying to find a good brunch spot during our short visit/trip and saw it on Yelp/Google; decided to try it and was not disappointed. It is located in the corner of a brick building on the intersection of Elm St and Beverly Rd. Not very easy to spot from the road if not looking for it carefully. Parking is shared with the rest of the stores of the building and was not difficult. The store is right beneath the "Jack Bays Inc" sign.

We ordered the Pistaccino and Vanilla Rose Latte. The Rose Latte was superb; sweet but not overwhelming. Also tried the Egg & Za'tar Croissant, Arayes Wrap. Vibrant flavors cooked to the perfect temperature; the wraps were also amazingly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The waiter was extremely attentive and helpful, always checking if we were okay with the orders.

The environment is modern and somewhat lively, with both indoor and outdoor seatings. The tables seemed very high-end and have white marble top look, as well as a few mirrors with surrounding light and large glass windows. Welcoming and refreshing ambiance.

Because of the delicious food and good service, will definitely return to try other dishes if in the area again. Keep up the good work...

Where do I even begin? The chic ambiance? The welcoming staff, the warm and hospitable owners? The amazingly delicious food - I really don't know. This has been my weekly oasis. I come here to work, socialize, and more importantly caffeinate and refuel. The food is delicious, homemade and like their slogan says "Just like mama made it". I would walk from the end of the earth for their incredible Iced Spanish Cardamom Latte. The quality of their coffee and food is unmatched and more importantly they're CONSISTENT. I come in expecting the same flavors of coffee and food and boy do they deliver. The food: I love love LOVE their Za'tar grilled cheese, Arayes, Mussakhan wrap, and the LENTIL SOUP - yummmmmm. First of all, let me start off by saying that it should absolutely NOT take 20+ minutes to bring over one latte. The service was so ridiculously slow and it was not even the weekend. I ordered 1 pistachio latte and sat there waiting for over 20 minutes and even had to remind them before they finally brought it out. One latte cost me over $11 for a small dine-in latte absolutely not worth the price or the wait. I have had much much better pistachio lattes in this area from any of the other shops places nearby.
