MISSION BBQ — Restaurant in McNair

20250425 My pup with multiple medical issues lost her appetite. I forgot all about Mission BBQ!! I got half a bird and pulled chicken... after many mins of staring at the food, she ate the smoked chicken dark meat only! 🥳 My other pup is trying to bury a piece of pulled chicken in the blanket instead, and she eventuallyate the pulled chicken. 🙄 They are so finicky!! Customer service is excellent!! I need to remember to come here more often! 20230210 I stopped in for dessert and walked out with dessert and a meal!! 😋😋😋 It has been awhile since I ate here. I forgot how delicious the sides are! The cheesy potato and my favorite green beans are so good. I love the law enforcement, firefighter, military theme. So many photos, challenge coins, patches, etc... to checkout, like a museum!! I love businesses and people that support law enforcement. I stopped by here twice yesterday to pick up lunch for my friend and came back to get myself some lunch. Both times, the employees are do friendly and helpful. I felt like I was with my friends, and it's my first time here. I feel so welcome. The food looks delicious! I ordered the turkey and pulled chicken with baked beans with brisket and green beans with bacon, and banana pudding. I loved the green beans and plan on getting 2 orders next time with Mac and cheese. The pulled chicken was tasty, and the turkey was ok. The Baja BBQ sauce was so spicy, but good. I will definitely stop by soon, I really like the green beans. I also need to try the cornbread, because it looks yummy, too. The restaurant was very clean and I love the military appreciation...

This location is still one of the friendliest places to get pulled pork sandwiches. The team is super friendly as usual. Mission BBQ of Herndon, VA is the chain of barbecue restaurants that provides a deep, dedicated to serve service members, the law enforcement community, and their families as well as the customers in the area Mission BBQ is one the best of not the best places to get the perfect pulled pork sandwich or ribs because their preparation is their meats is done the old fashioned way with choice cuts of meats. But let's not forget the other items like Mac-n-cheese, green beans and more. These add-on sides add to the experience of the meal. I ordered the North Carolina Pulled Pork sandwich with a side of Mac-n-cheese asking with a drink. The sandwich was told with coleslaw and a thick layer of pulled pork. My first bite and every subsequent bite were bursting with that fall of the bone taste of seasoned pork that's unforgettably Mission BBQ signature flavor. The staff and the manager were on their game today. Without failure, I felt like a valued customer as they ensured I was happy with my meal, and I was. Folks, let's face it, there are BBQ restaurants and there are Mission BBQ restaurants, if you're looking for a satisfactory experience that will have you wanting to come back for more - go Mission BBQ. I'm convinced this beautifully decorated restaurant is a one-stop location for the best in BBQ cuisine. I really enjoy Mission BBQ, but it's pricy, so expect your meal to be on the high side. I recently went to Mission BBQ for the 1st time and was extremely impressed with the Great Service and Amazing food. After several more visits I am happy to report that I have consistently received Unbelievable Service from people who truly make you feel like a guest in an incredibly Patriotic Atmosphere. This is not your typical Chain Restaurant, the Quality of the Food is 2nd to None (and I have eaten everywhere) and the amazing service comes from people who have a vested interest in their "Mission" as if their name was on the Building... The BBQ order that i placed for Take Out was ON TIME and had all the extras without asking, the meat is so Smokey and flavorful that I didn't have the opportunity to try out the 6 Different (and perfectly labeled) BBQ Sauces because I was so caught up in the naked flavor! The recommendations I got from Matt over the phone while looking over the menu where Spot On, being new to the Menu his knowledge of Mission's Kitchen made it easy for him to help me order what I was in the mood for. Upon pick-up the 2 Sydney's showed me the best hospitality along with the Manager Shelly, who all really went out of their way for me, just like everyone else there, showed me that they were happy not just to have me as a customer, but that they are happy to be there (there is a big difference) Thank You to Shelly, Matt, the 2 Sydney's, Adam and eveyone else at Mission BBQ for making me feel like a Guest, and as I travel the county with my job you can be sure I will stop at every Mission BBQ...
