Incredibly rude and unprofessional. I went in looking for backpacks that we are donating to students at local schools. I had picked up several backpacks that I saw were on sale in the Walgreens advertisement in the front of the store. I was still walking around the store and the cashier starts clapping her hands at me- I am assuming she was trying to get my attention- then she yells me that there is a limit to how many backpacks I could buy. There was no sign posted on the backpack section- there was no sale price posted on the backpack section as well. The cashier said she needed to get the manager because there was a limit. How unprofessional and how rude. If she had something to tell me about purchasing the backpacks, why not wait until I actually made it to the register. Clapping her hands at me to get my attention and then telling me across the register into one of the aisles that she needed to call the manager was unnecessary and unprofessional. Why embarrass me in that manner in front of other customers? Unbelievable. Then the manager on duty comes to the register and tells me that she has the right to limit quantities. Why is this not posted where the backpacks are? Oh, that's right Walgreens also forgot to put up the sale tags for the backpacks as well. The manager took 5 minutes to find it in the ad and get her reading glasses to show me specifically that she had the power to reserve how many backpacks I could purchase. It took me 10 minutes at the register, a load of regret and frustration for even purchasing some backpacks to giveaway for kiddos who cannot afford them to go to school, and complete embarassment by the unprofessional cashier and manager. Walgreens- you need to do better at this- I ended up going to HEB to purchase over $260 in backpacks and school supplies- all of which I would have happily purchased at Walgreens if I would not have been so embarrassed and humiliated by the cashier/manager over purchasing more than 3 backpacks. I am sharing this review because I am a Walgreens shopper but I will never purchase at this...
Read moreWalgreens is terrible step child of Walmart, and the high class uncle of Dollar Tree, let's be honest. If you expect anything more than average, the joke is on you.
Given that, you really shouldn't cut off the hand that feeds you, or in this case, medicates you. This is Walgreens people, we need one in our life, usually once a week.
Unfortunately, for those of us living near this particular location, fate dealt us one of the below average stores. Not everything about this store is bad, but alot is. Let me break it down for you:
Photo: I love having the option to print 1,000 photos on the cheap, at any given time. You can do that here, but only when the employee for the photo dept. isn't on break (which is the majority of the time). They do provide great photographic product here, though.
Pharmacy: This is by FAR the thing I hate most about this store. Terrible service and overall experience, EVERY TIME. Staff is consistently rude, and never changes from their mistakes. Lead pharmacist argued with my wife, and wouldn't own up to her mistake with crucial dose instructions.
Food: Not the freshest, but it's a Walgreens. Way better than the gas stations in the area.
Inside+Outside: Clean enough, with an average amount of wear+tear. Parking lot is large, and not efficient.
Location: Unfortunately there is and has been construction all around this location since we have lived in the area (5 months).
Overall, this place is below average, but we will still go here out of necessity, not choice. Hopefully they change their ways and the surrounding roads will be...

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the service I received at your pharmacy on December 22, 2024. I arrived at 5:55 p.m. due to an emergency need to refill my son's prescription medication.
Despite my urgent request, the receptionist/pharmacist refused to assist me, citing that the pharmacy closes at 6:00 p.m. I explained that it would only take a couple of minutes to provide the refill, but she wasted three minutes arguing with me. I requested to speak with the manager, who also initially refused to assist me, reiterating that the pharmacy was closed.
After pointing out that four minutes had been wasted arguing, the manager finally agreed to provide the refill. However, I was charged $30.99, despite my son being a Medicaid recipient. The manager claimed that I had authorized an early refill, which is not the case.
I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of service and compassion displayed by your staff. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and understanding, especially in emergency situations.
I request that you investigate this matter and take necessary steps to ensure that your staff provides better service to customers in the future. I would also appreciate it if you could review my son's account and adjust the charges accordingly.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing...
