Let me preface this with a little backstory... I have been blessed and travelled all over North America...my goto is Brazilian Steakhouses having eaten in Brazil, and many other South American countries I am very picky when it comes to Brazilian Steakhouses...198 as of tonight...I rate this one in the top 2 I have eaten at thus far..
Front of House...Spot on met at the door by a smiling and charming young lady named Karla. Who promptly sat me and quickly MY server Greg was at my table quick to meet my need for beverages. And inform me of the specials and quick instructions on the red and green badge on my table... So on to the salad Bar... Not your normal Salad bar in the sense th as t they have some amazing additions. Salmon Ceviche, smoked salmon, and loads of amazing vegetables cooked and chilled.
Between courses a Young Lady Melissa came to check and make sure everything was good.(later found out she is the Daughter of the Owners, and is very active in the business.)
Bring on what we all go for the Meats...
I can only say this Perfection.. The prep and seasoning is amazing. The House Speciality Pancha is second to none. RIBEYE Spot on perfect.. Filet Mignon...wow never seen such an amazing cut done so well that the idea of a knife not needed...
Lamb... This is a Brazilian staple with the twist from the executive Chef... Whom by the way is in the restaurant and very active in the Operation... His White Wine, Mint and Lemon Pepper twist on the Lamb Chops is Absolutely Amazing...Most delectable Lamb ever served...Hats off and Many Kudos..
So first dessert (yep had to have more than one) Papaya Cream... The Heavens fell into a glass...best way to describe this dish...
Second Dessert... So I stopped at the Bar on the way out Houston was Playing the Nationals in the WS... Had a beer and ordered the House Made Flan...
Wholly moses...never did I expect to have such and tastebud stimulation that rocked the very tip of the tongue...They have definitely perfected this to the level but achieved by any other restaurant in the Northern hemisphere.
Will sitting I decided to have an Brazilian Coffee which was made by the Executive Chef himself (native Brazilian) I thought and Angel had kissed me when I took my first sip...I was pretty sure on the second sip...
While sitting there a conversation kicked up with a Gentleman and his Wife...great folks... Found out they are the owners.. There Daughter Melissa came over and made the formal introductions... To find out that the Owners, the Executive Chef and the Owners Daughter were very active in the Day to day operations was suprising as they have 3 locations. They are very much People whom make you feel like family... I look very forward to the next visit..
There are Brazilian Steakhouses and then there is Avenida Brazil Churrascaria...Which should have a Michelin Star Rating hands down this is by far one of the Best Brazilian Steakhouses in North America as close as you can get to Rio without getting on a plane headed South...
Great Service with a deeply rooted...

I'm contacting you to provide some feedback on our dining experience at Avenida Brazilian Steakhouse Meadows Place location on April 3rd. I'm highly disappointed, in all the years my family and I have patronize here we've never been serviced in this manner.
We were addressed by a server that took our drink orders, but only two people received drinks. Once we were ready for the main course we alerted the waiter. The servers came around the table rushing while practically throwing meat on our plates. We waited at least thirty minutes for potatoes, and asked several times for everything including lamb chops and filet mignon which took another hour. We were left in the back forgotten about. I finally asked for a manager, a young man stated he would serve us personally and make sure everything was taken care of only after saying. If we're standing up we cant be served. Which is ridiculous!!!!
I told him we're standing taking birthday pictures because we've been patiently waiting for food that never came. He asked did we want certain meats I stated salmon he says you already have one on your plate. I was appalled. Well sir its dry I want a different piece. It was so frustrating to be treated this way. All of the waiters continued to walk through our private room through the curtains interrupting our party. Never saying excuse me or setting expectations that someone would be constantly walking through interrupting our moments. Thats the reason we paid for a private room...It was horrible!
I was extremely upset and ready to close the night when the waiter ask did we want dessert. Never asking who's birthday it is or did they want drinks from bar nothing!! He finally brings papaya cream that's spoiled. Yes spoiled!!!!!!!!! and the cheesecake was frozen in the middle, at this point I'm practically in tears and apologizing to my daughter for this experience.
The manager checked on everyone but us, I know him from coming so frequently. We felt isolated and forgotten. We will never patronize at this location again. I will be leaving a review about our...
Read moreIf I could give a ZERO star I would! Please BEWARE if you go to this restaurant!! For our experience these people tend to be abusive with customers, adding extra charges to the bill… We told the hostess since we get there after she asked us which menu we would like we were very specific and said that we wanted the $37 dinner instead the one that cost $67 I think it is (since we don’t really eat all the variety of meat they offer other than picanha) Well, after we received the bill SURPRISE!! They added the expensive one without saying anything… They never brought other meat to the table other than picahna and shrimps but they had the nerve to still add the expensive menu… When we ask our server that if they can correct the bill since we told the hostess that we wanted the $37 menu they refused not once but 3 times! The “manager” came to our table to keep saying the same thing (I’m sorry you already ate the food) and when I asked to bring the hostess to out table to ask her in front of him and confirm what we were saying with her he said “no because is not professional” whaaat?? Since when make a question is “unprofessional” then when my husband said that we will have to call the cops to report this incident ( since was a pretty much and unauthorized charge”) the manager left and came back with the bill corrected… But my question is why you didn’t avoid this issue since the beginning?? It wouldn’t be more easy and honest just call your hostess and resolve this misunderstanding directly with her?? Since obviously was her mistake?? Is a shame because we used to come this place a couple of times every year…Well for sure this is our last one!! They definitely need to work harder on their customer service because is by far one of the worse. P/d: My advice please check your bill throughly at the end just to make sure they didn’t add any additional charge that may not...
