The Cosmetics Company Store — Attraction in Mebane

Shannon at the Mebane location assisted me with finding a color match with the Mac foundation on 4/10/2022. As I was throwing away the samples, she grabbed the foundation for me and took it to the counter. I continued shopping, picked up 2 more items, headed to the counter, paid, and left. Once I got home and opened the bag, Shannon had given me the wrong color. I live 2 hrs away from Mebane. Today, 4/16/2022, my daughter visited the store to exchange the product for me. I read the receipt before asking her to bring the product back and exchange it for the correct color. I don't appreciate the unprofessionalism and rudest of your staff towards my daughter. The person who waited on her would not correct the mistake that Shannon made and now Shannon "does not remember" selecting the wrong color. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS, SPEND MONEY THERE AGAIN AND I ENCOURAGE FOLK TO SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE...

If you appreciate at least average customer service skills...try another store for your makeup needs. The blonde with curly hair was extremely unhelpful and rude when I visited the store to exchange a product, when one of THEIR employees placed the wrong foundation color in my bag the week prior. She proceeded to say that all sales are final and that it's pretty much posted everywhere, when I wasn't asking for a refund, simply the right color I should have had. Then as I exited, she felt the need to provide unsolicited advice and stated that the color I actually needed would be too dark anyway...but if she were truly knowledgeable in cosmetics, she would know that often people wear different shades depending on the season. They are in DESPERATE need of customer service training and I will not...

I previously visited your store in Mebane and promised myself I would never return. My first experience being in your store I was faced with, one customer in the store along with the salesperson, I was never greeted or acknowledged during the short period of time there which made me feel very unwelcomed and invisible. On 3.23.24, I had a change of heart and took a chance on visiting your store again which was a Wonderful experience. I was greeted and assisted by two lovely salespeople, GeAnna and Jasmine. When I explained my past experience they were very apologetic provided me with samples and thanked me for coming back. It really made my day. Good customer service is Very important. Ladies keep up...
