Game On State — Attraction in Media

Mixed feelings about this place. First the good: they have a very solid selection of games. Any reviewer that says otherwise must not be a retro gamer. Secondly the staff seem nice and the location is cool.

Stuff I'm not too thrilled about. 1 there are no quarters, you have to pay for time which is pretty much a deal breaker for me. $20 for an hour? You'd have to be terrible at gaming to spend $20 in an hour at an arcade. Also no quarters takes a lot of the fun out of it. When you put no money in the machine there's nothing at stake. That's why the place is always full of games that some kid got bored and walked away from.

Also all the pinball machines have little to no volume, real bummer if your a pinball fan. Takes a lot of the fun out of it.

And the last thing, the place is way too bright. The big store front window should be tinted or have a curtain or something. Doesn't feel like an arcade when the room is that bright.

So overall, cool place and nice people but could be way better with minor changes...

All of these positive reviews are well earned! We recently hosted my daughter's 8th birthday here and we all had an absolute blast. First off, our party host, Eva, and the manager on duty, Natalie, went above and beyond to make everything easy, stress free, and enjoyable for my husband & I from bringing the stuff to the party room & helping to set it up to helping us load our car with the packed up leftovers, decorations, and gifts. They were so sweet and helpful and made my daughter feel so special! And as one of my daughter's friends mentioned when she walked in, the space is "every kid's dream!" The kids had so much fun playing all of the games, doing karaoke, and filling a take home bag from the candy wall. I highly recommend hosting a party at this venue for either little or big kids as it's hard to say if my husband or my son had more fun at the pinball machines ;) I only wish the party was longer as the hour & a half went...

🌟We just celebrated my daughter’s fourth birthday at Game on State, and it was an absolute dream! The princess/Descendants-themed dance party was a hit, with all her girlfriends joining in the fun. My daughter was beyond enthusiastic, and the karaoke in the party room was a huge highlight for the kids! The staff was incredible, especially our party host who went above and beyond to organize dance routines and shuffles that got all the girls excited and moving. Parents also loved the chance to escape to the arcade for some much-needed “me time.” And let’s talk about the favor bags—they were filled with top-notch candy that had parents trying their best to resist sneaking a piece! Overall, I am 1000% happy with our experience and highly recommend Game on State for any party. We hosted my husbands surprise 40th too here. So happy returning client!
