Sligo Irish Pub — Restaurant in Media

So we came in, got seated, waitress was very nice, ordered apps, waited almost an hour for them, one of us ordered a shot from the bar, brought it back to the table, he drank it and the (EMPTY) glass ended up with his 12 year old brother that was just playing and fiddling with the (EMPTY) glass when I noticed the bar tender, blonde girl staring at us from beside us at the beginning of the hallway and I looked back and she walked away, came back and took the glass without saying anything, then came back again and said that she wasn't comfortable serving us, just because the 12 year old was playing with the glass, I said to her that he didn't drink it, the guy that ordered it was the one who drank it and that instead of staring at us from a corner, come and ask, I would have whole heartedly and honestly told her that I didn't give alcohol to a 12 year old kid, and then after kicking us out, she had the balls to ask If we wanted our entrees bagged to go, we told her absolutely not, I paid for the apps we ate and left, unbelievably terrible service too pricey for okay food and the building was crappy and dirty on top of that. Please, no one go here and take your hard earned money somewhere that you'll get good service...

The menu on line was completely different once we arrived. The waitress was horrible, she never came back to see if we needed anything. We had to jeep flagging her down for help. To ask for a spoon and sugar for tea. My drink had rum, I asked for double vodka instead, she brought the drink regular. When my food came, everything was cold, as if it had been sitting by a window, when she finally walked by from serving another table, I had to tell her that my food was cold, she took it, they must have microwaved it because she brought it back in less than 2 minutes, the brussel sprouts, chicken fingers and fries were room temperature as well. I'm sure hoping that we didnt receive that service because we were a mixed group. My son in law is from Ireland to the US in the 90s and we usually frequent Irish pubs/restaurants in Philadelphia and the surrounding ares for him to get a small piece of home. Dined here the last Wednesday in September 2018. The hostess was cheerful. The initial waitress was luke warm. The brash waitress (older, strawberry blonde/red hair) who brought our food out was chewing. I was suspicious , but did or said nothing. Admittedly our food was tasty for burgers. We were at the end our dining experience. I walked my daughter to the bathroom. And that’s when we both witnessed the brash waitress eating off of the plates that she picked up from the kitchen window. Yup, she had a taste of our food and theirs—whom ever they may be—first before we ever had the chance to taste it. She not only ate off of one plate but two, including ours that would make four. Yuck...yuck! I called Sligo’s establishments and left...
