Painting with a Twist — Attraction in Media

A little disappointed with our experience here. I was expecting to have a fully completed painting at the end of the night but we didn't start our paintings until after over 30 minutes. I completely understand not being able to start at 5:00 on the dot cuz things happen & allowing a few extra minutes for late arrivals, but over 30 minutes really ate away at our painting time. Because we started so late, the instructor didn't show us how to completely blend part of our sky so everyone's sky was a big black block at the top. I was very distraught when at the end time, the instructor just said "we're out of time so now add some stars & sign it at the bottom," without any warning. I understand they have another class starting after us, but because we didn't start on time we had to walk away with unfinished paintings that were totally rushed at the end & looked unblended & sloppy. Then they said if we weren't happy with it we could sign up for another class where they help you finish it. I'm not sure if that one costs money but if it does, that seems pretty unfair & I should be getting refunded instead for that 30 minutes lost. I think the instructor noticed some of us were scrambling to finish & said we could make some last minute touches in their party room which was nice, but still wouldn't have been necessary if we had...

It was a great experience overall as this was my family and I’d first time visiting Painting with a Twist. When we first arrived there was chaos as there were only two paint instructors, and they were scrambling to hand out the paint materials. So it was a bit crazy for the first hour or so. After that, everything ran smoothly and it was a great time. It’s a byob so I’ll remember that for the next time because I will be returning at some point. The only other complaint besides the chaotic preparation in the beginning of the session was that it was rainy outside and after finishing our paintings, we weren’t provided with something to cover them up so that they don’t get wet and messy. So that would be something great/useful to have that next time whether it’s rainy outside or just to have so that it doesn’t get messed up in the car, etc. Again, this was a really really great...

I recently took my best friend to Painting with a Twist as a surprise, and we had an absolutely fantastic time! Tara was our instructor, and she made the entire experience so much fun. She has a great personality and was very engaging throughout the session.

What really stood out was how she provided specific details and tips to ensure our paintings would come out beautifully, even for those of us who aren’t seasoned artists. Tara’s guidance was clear and easy to follow, and she was always available to help when needed. By the end of the session, we were both so proud of our artwork!
