While the theater boasted impressive quality and a pleasant atmosphere, I couldn't overlook the sacrifices made in terms of comfortability and customer service. The venue itself was well-maintained, with top-notch audiovisual equipment and a visually appealing ambiance. However, the comfort of the seating left much to be desired, with stiff and cramped chairs detracting from the overall experience. Additionally, the level of customer service fell short of expectations, with staff seeming overwhelmed and inattentive during peak hours. Despite these shortcomings, the overall movie-watching experience was decent, but improvements in comfort and customer satisfactionwould undoubtedly elevate the theater to a higher standard.

It is a nice movie theater and the lighting is very nice. It is conveniently located near a lot of stores. There are no people out front selling tickets; so you can either use the self serve kiosks or go to the food counter for tickets. I prefer to purchase tickets from people out front. The seats in the theater are not recliners.

The most expensive movie theater with the most uncomfortable seats you would think for what you pay $10 a slushie $8 for small bag of candy that would cost $2 the seats and space they give you is so uncomfortable and outdated

So this experience will definitely be a me experience and not quite fitting for most. The last time I was at a movie theatre was at South Park Mall watching Moana with my wife and son (2016). Now the real kicker, I haven't been to the theatre in Regal Medina since Larry The Cable Guy: Health Inspector (2006). Now this had nothing to do with the theatre itself. That being said, I greatly remember a before and after from when I was 14 to now 30. First let's start with the outside appearance, over the years the outside has definitely been weathered and seen better days. When you walk in you are greeted/ not really by the autonomous ticket booths. Basically a fancy ATM to buy tickets. As you walk in it's pretty empty and sparse, seems like people either don't have time for movie theatre anymore or they'd rather watch it at home. The arcade became smaller over the years, but no one goes to a theatre for arcade games. They do have this party room that is new to me, not sure how long it's been there though. As always and as expected the food/snacks are expensive. The place was pretty empty remind you for the first day release of the new Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, so I expected to get my large popcorn and large soda relatively quick. Well that's where I ran into a bit of inconvenience, though they had 4 people working and there was like maybe 15 people with groups/families being 4-5. The workers definitely seemed like they were working for $10 an hour. I don't know what they actually get but they did not seem happy, they were what seemed like purposely slow, except an older employee. Overall I was second in line and waited 12 minutes for a large popcorn and large soda. Now I know it doesn't seem like a long time but when all you have to do is scoop the popcorn and dispense the soda it shouldn't take more than 5. Remind you they hardly had anyone and really seemed like they were dragging butt. Now I finally got my popcorn but it had black specs all over it from when I'm guessing popcorn burned and they never cleaned it. At this point of the movie almost starting I didn't even bother and I had a large soda to wash the hint of burnt popcorn down. After that everything was quite nice, I prefer theatres with little to no people, makes it seem personal and you can enjoy it with out some possible disturbance. The theatre definitely has changed from when I was a kid but I honestly don't see theatres or at least this one lasting much longer. Especially when people would rather...

This is the first time I’ve ever had to write a review. Bless your hearts, I went to go see a horror movie called “The Strangers” and everyone at the front was very nice, however that sadly did change. When buying the tickets I noted that it said it was 17+ whilst purchasing, which I thought was interesting because I was under the impression it was 18+. I bought my ticket separately, and also noted there was no mention of needing a 21+ adult if 17 (Put a pin in that), as we walked into the theatre, it was pretty empty, except for a few groups. Keep in mind this is an 11pm showing of a HORROR movie, which (Spoilers) was jump-scare heavy. Now as the movie got more intense, people reacted more heavily. It went from gasps, to small screams, to “No!”, now keep in mind these were still fairly muted, but of course vocal. An 11pm horror movie on a Saturday night will be a little loud. Then a manager came up to the group I was with and told us to be quiet, due to two noise complaints. We went from reactions to actual American Sign Language SILENT, as we were all silent, this man stalked the theatre, (Just like the Strangers in the movie), he stayed in the theatre watching us, going up and down the stairs. Then he pestered other people separate from our group over something (I couldn’t tell). Then two members of our group went to go refill their popcorn (An All-American right because we paid for it), and this manager followed them out, he then asked them how old they were. These two girls said the truth 17, and 18. He then said you needed to have someone who was 21 in order to have a 17 year old in the theatre, which was no where mentioned on the tickets, and once again (that pin) there was no mention. So then he said they had to “Go get your group and leave.” and so they did. They came back (Manager on their heels) and said “Guys we have to leave”, we all got up and left. He followed us out of course, and said “Guys, act like you’ve been to a movie theatre before”. Darling, with full compassion, bless your heart. Heaven forbid I enjoy and react to a HORROR MOVIE, with JUMP-SCARES. If other people dont want to hear others in the audience, they can wait for it to be on streaming services, and watch it alone, especially if the noises are reasonable. We left the theatre with no refund. I really like going to Regal, but this was...

Clean theater & bathrooms. They weren't using the box office for ticket purchasing but had the lights on inside it so I wasn't sure if a window was closed or I needed to purchased tickets inside until I got up closer on the sign to read it in full. It was a larger sign, but a simple rope with a sign pointing inside would be much more effective. The young lady I purchased our tickets from was extremely friendly and personable. She greeted us, answered a question and was smiling the whole time, nice to see! When I ordered my expensive concessions, from a different girl, she misunderstood my order but didn't offer to fix it, (my boys were ok with the slushy mix-up so no harm) Then a family that was behind me in-line, was taken to a new line that opened. Only my family and the other were in the lobby. Most places would not of opened another line, which was very nice to see that they wanted to get us into our movie quicker. They were helped by the nice girl (who I bought our tickets from) who opened the new line. I had ordered before them but my 2 drinks and popcorn took longer, in fact they ended up getting the last of the popcorn. I was told they were out of popcorn and needed to make a fresh batch, and that the other (nicer) girl would get it, and this girl walked away. I was left there, looking dumbfounded, watching the other family walk in with the popcorn I ordered 1st and thinking we are now missing the beginning of the movie, which was my fault since I was running behind schedule. We all enjoy fresh popcorn but I was anxious to get into the theatre before the movie started since I was running late, and the boys were gonna miss the beginning, #momfail. The (nicer) girl must have noticed my anxiety and asked if she could help, when I explained she didn't think twice and asked for my theater number and said she would bring the popcorn to me. I'm very thankful this was offered because we would of missed the start of the movie if we had to wait. Thank you very much, I bope your bosses read these (we were there at 2pm on 7/24/2017) There were no family restroom, or I didn't see any, and being a mom to 9 & 5 year old boys, concerned me having them go in by themselves and then wait for me by themselves. Overall a very nice experience and...
