Dragon Buffet — Restaurant in Medina

My fiancé and I came here with my 2 year old daughter for lunch. All was well except the waiter kept hovering around our table. We felt like we couldn't have even a remotely private conversation. I wasn't done with some of my food and she just took my plate away. I have gone here before along with my fiancé and he has had many people go with him here as well, but today was a horrible experience. We only went up one time and as soon as our plates were cleared she immediately brought us the bill. We thought nothing of it and continues to get food. When we were finished eating for real, I handed her my card and she took the bill up, which was interesting because they have never done that before. We thought nothing of it. The cost was $29.98. When she came back for me to sign I got a message from my bank that the restaurant charged my card $35.98. I looked at the receipt to see if I had mistaken the amount. I didn't. The receipt to sign specifically said $29.98. When I glanced at the recommended tip amount I saw that the 25% tip amount was $6.00. The exact amount that was over charged on my card. I looked at my fiancé and told him this. Stunned. I looked back at the receipt thinking about how to handle the situation. I wondered if there had been a mistake.

The waitress came over after seeing me getting ready to fill it out and pointed at the receipt where the tip was and pointed where to fill it out at. At this point I am furious. She expected me to tip her what she already charged my card for. I didn't have a say in the matter. I put the Total down of $29.98. Signed the receipt and got up. She gave me the dirtiest look. Had she not charged my card WITHOUT my permission and allowed me to decide the tip, she would have gotten a cash tip of $5. What was done was unprofessional and unethical. So beware using your card here. Don't let the waitress do it. I have not gotten the $6 refunded to my card either. I don't think that I will. I was also worried she would have tipped herself twice by doing that.

If I could give this restaurant no stars I honestly would! Food quality is so far beyond par!! Before they moved to their now location, were in a small restaurant & food was amazing! Now they're a joke. Calling to ask if they have things such as frog legs (something I told they were getting back in a few months ago) the supposed "manager" was unbelievably rude & hung up on me after letting him know I was told by an owner the last time I went in for the buffet, they'd be getting them in around this time. Last few times I was in there nothing tasted right. As well as rude employees, mainly from management. Which our last initial contact prior to talking on the phone was bc my soup slid off my plate onto the floor. Obviously, a complete accident. The woman shooed me away & was angry. Accidents happen, & they weren't busy whatsoever. All in all, I will never be returning, mainly bc of the food quality is terrible, & second bc anyone in a management, especially in an owner position, mistreating customers, doesn't deserve anyone's money. Once they realize they let their business go down due to their impatience or care for customer interaction, it'll finally hit how you should probably run a business.

GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE... YOUR MONEY WILL BE MORE APPRECIATED ELSEWHERE, AS WELL YOU'LL GET BETTER...

Wish i could give no stars.. spent 37$ on me an my girlfriend. We got waters, not pop. The chicken was stupid hard couldn't even chew it, the glasses of water they brought were dirty with food stuck to the inside.the tables and blinds were so dirty (pics show) the place is seriously outdated, the tables are stacked so close together you have to squeeze out of your table and squeeze between other tables to get to the "small" selection of food. There ice cream scooper was sitting in brown sludgy water.. so no ice cream... then the waiter dude came over we paid, he brought back the little tray for the bill and watched us and as we walked away after we paid he was finger stabbing the tray talking in Chinese. The only word i understood was "teep, da teep" ya buddy. I had to clean my own table when you sat me down then had one plate of food and you gave me a dirty water glass then didnt take out plates till we were done eating and bill was already paid and we were about to leave.. oh yeah my fortune said this. "Keep walking forwards, walking backwards is no fun".....really....ANYWAYS, me an my gf were sick for 3 days after eating this crap. Never again. Royal buffet sucks to.
