Lack of compassion. Ran 3 minutes late. Denied me entry into the class. I just moved and drove 30 min & had a new route from my apartment. Bummer. Routine attendee here, but won't be attending again! Lost my business. I've been 3 minutes late in the past before and wasn'denied. They told me "due to being 3 min late and a full class." Told the girl below me 2 min. The change and inconsistency in policy between individuals is weird and was not communicated. How dare someone be 120 seconds late? Should i walk at the same speed, or not get stuck in an accident? How dare i get stuck on the road closure and detour happening a few minutes from their studio on mercer island? More stop signs and no entry. Didn't even make a one time except like other studios. Won't be showing up ever again 😀
Been to plenty of studios through class pass before & very few deny you entry under 5 minutes additionally w/o a warning on your membership. Seems like someone else below had the same problem....
Read moreLack of compassion is what it is. Was 2 minutes late and they don’t let you in. Asked why and she said it is just something they do. (How nice?) The front desk person named Nicole argued with me for 10 minutes and couldn’t tell me why they wouldn’t let people in past 2 minutes. What does it impact? She couldn’t give any legit reason because there are none that made sense. Been to plenty of other yoga studios, boxing clubs, fitness clubs and none will turn you away if you are 2 minutes late! She said other yoga studies have the same policy and I asked where and she couldn’t name any. After driving 30 minutes for a class for the first time I expected better. Caring is essential to a good yoga experience. Not coming back here. Good job Nicole and YogaSix! Please think twice before coming here. Can you promise you will always play by their rules? there are plenty of better and cheaper studios with people who actually care about you. Go...
Read moreAfter a long day at work and having to rush to catch a bus to this yoga class, I was quite frazzled and honestly not in the mood for the class anymore. But April truly allowed me to mentally do a complete 180. She has such a calming presence, yet still maintains an encouraging and motivating energy that pushes you to challenge yourself in the exact right way for you in the moment. I ended up so grateful at the end for sticking it through and attending class, and it's in large part because of how awesome of a teacher April is. Her class will be on my calendar every week moving forward, and now I know even on the days when I don't feel like doing yoga, her class will leave me...
